Her Hot Dreams
Greatest Chokes In Sports History...lol.

Hello to all my Yankers buddies,

ENJOY!

http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7286840?MSNHPHCP&GT1=10539

1. New York Yankees, 2004 ALCS

When you're the first team to blow a 3-0 series lead in 101 years of postseason history, that pretty much qualifies you for the top spot on our list.
When you do it against your biggest rival, ultimately enabling them to end 86 years of postseason futility, it pretty much mandates it.
And it's not as if anyone else had come close to duplicating Boston's unprecedented rally from three games down in the American League Championship Series. The Red Sox were the first team to even force a Game 7 after dropping the first three. Only two teams before Boston's merry gang of idiots had even made it as far as a Game 6.

Truth be told, the Red Sox shouldn't have even gotten that far. They were down one in the ninth in Game 4, down two in the eighth in Game 5 and the Yankees had arguably the most dominant postseason performer of his generation sitting in the bullpen in Mariano Rivera. Both times, Boston rallied to win in extra innings, setting the stage for Curt Schilling and his bloody sock.

Schilling was supposed to be done for the series with an ankle injury that would ultimately require surgery. And the Yankees undoubtedly wish that had been the case, as Schilling's masterful Game 6 performance thoroughly demoralized the Bronx Bombers to the point where they barely showed up in a 10-3 loss in Game 7 to complete the collapse.

Luv ya,

Korbel

Hey, how come all the experts are picking the red-hot Tribe to send the $210,000,000 off to an early winter? We know why they're picking the Hose to dispatch the Angels.

I've never been one to predict the events in a short series, so I'm only going to make one prediction here: A-Rod will hit better than the .071 he hit last October. In fact, he might even hit better than the .133 he hit the year before. He could even hit better than the .258 he hit in the ALCS the year of the Greatest Choke in Sports History. However, that said, I'm not so sure of this that I'd be willing to make a bet.

Thats because all the experts are very stupid, there are only three experts that I would listen too and consider very smart, Kevin Hench, Kevin Kennedy and of course myself.:)

Kevin Hench is an expert all right. TV and film, college football, and baseball. His main area of expertise is TV and film.

Kevin Kennedy was a mediocre manager and a failed ballplayer. ESPN puts all the guys not bright enough to write on the air. Those that know what they're talking about, they put on ESPN.com. Gammons and Phillips do both, so that Baseball Tonight is not totally useless.

As for you, Joe, you are in the words of Special K, clearly more of an expert in human behavior than Hench is of baseball, a fucking moron.

Don't miss the next three Yankee games. They may be the last.

Who cares? That and three quick losses at the hands of the Tribe will mean an early winter?

Double or nothing? I'm game, providing you want to add another hour to that on the Angels. Post to confirm.

Is this a confirmation of a $160.00 bet that you pick the Yankees to lose three straight to the Indians and the Red Sox to beat the Angels?

Ya damn right I am in, pretty please with sugar on top please confirm?

Wrong again, Joe. I am will the bet that the Indians will beat the Yankees in 5 games or less and that the Sox will beat the Angels in 5 games or less, $160 on each. I'm not quite as stupid as you.

Trivia question: Who has more post-season shutouts: Josh Beckett, Curt Schilling or the entire NY Yankee pitching staff.

No answers? OK, here it is:

Josh Beckett has three post-season shutouts to his credit.
Curt Schilling also has three
Roger Clemens, Mike Mussina, and Andy Pettitte have one between them.

As for our bet, nowhere did I ever predict that the Tribe would sweep. I'm not a fucking moron. Looks like you hid long enough for Josh Beckett to dominate like no Yankee pitcher has dominated in the post-season since Don Larsen.

If you're still stupid enough to take the Angels, I'm smart enough to take the Tribe. Nothing really has changed since yesterday; everybody knew the Sox were going to win.

So what I'm gathering from all of this is Joe.t will take the Yankees & Angels to win their ALDS series' and Rumples would take the Indians & Sox to win their series', for $160, is this what I'm getting, and if so, confirm and shake on it!

BTW, was watching ESPN the other night and legit baseball analyst Tim Kurkjian who's been a Red Sox rooter all season long and had the Yankees buried at mid season, has picked the Yankees to beat the Phillies in the World Series.

K, it was two separate $160 bets, one on each series. Sadly, Joe.T didn't have the guts to check back in before the Sox dominated the Angels last night. Fortunately, he's probably enough of a fucking moron to still take it.

Now this is what I would call a smart Red Sox fan, using his brains and not his heart.:)

PS- Does going from being called a "fucking moron" to "stupid" a promotion for me rumples?, what will I be called after the Yankees win it all just like the smart Tim Kurkjian is predicting.:p

Don't know, Joe. We'll have to turn this one over to the scholars. They charge $160. I've given them the money I owed you and am expecting an answer by the end of the day.

To bad that Beckett can't pitch in every game for them, good luck with Matsuzaka and Wakefield, you remember those guys don't you the guy's with ERA's soaring over 4, I noticed that your hero Crisp was his useless self(again) last night.

rumples will you be cheering for Crisp when he plays for another team next year, rumours are rampant that his days in Boston are numbered due to the progression of Esslbury?

Actually, Joe, Crisp made a typically brilliant play in CF last night. As for Wakefield, he's not even on the post season roster. The Sox no. 3 pitcher is the man with the best post-season record in history and a better ERA than any Yankee pitcher other than Wang.

Depends where he goes, Joe. Considering his successful 2007 season, likely ending with a Gold Glove on his shelf and his low contract, this trade should bring the Sox a handsome reward.

Way to go Johnny boy!!!, how did you like that Home Run by Damon rumples, its one more hit than the lousy Crisp will get in the whole Angels series.:)

I do believe that Damon is one of the players predicted by Hench to get hot in the playoffs.
