unlike every other post from you "i am not a habs fan, i am not a habs fan, i repeat i am not a habs fan" mine are actually true.... :)

You have 2078 posts and you've spent about 1000 of them repeating your ridiculous fiction about me being a habs fan. It's quite obvious you are obsessed with me and also can't tell reality from fiction, but if you insist on polluting this board with your made-up fantasies maybe you could at least give us a break and come up with some new fantasies.
We get it: you incorrectly think I'm a habs fan. Fine - you can live the rest of your life incorrectly thinking so, just as you can live the rest of your life incorrectly thinking your hopeless leafs will ever amount to anything. No problem - it's your life and if you want to live it in total ignorance that's your privilege. But please, for the love of God, stop boring the rest of the world with your repetitive and erroneous little fantasies.

Back to your old tricks eh Doc? This Johnny character can't really be my hero since I have no idea who he is and as Pat Burns once said "I wouldn't recognize him if he walked in front of my car."

Hey Joe buddy! Just a friendly reminder that your hero will be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight. What are friends for, right? :D

Well, at least there is one realistic habs fan

GSG, Ballsy1day,Cosmo,Justbob,Tech,Cairo,Octavian, and any other scabbies fan, listen up, you could learn something from this quote made by a habs fan on a internet hockey site after tonights crucial loss to Ottawa...

"So all the changes made in the off season only mean, we are still at square 1. We have a team that cannot challenge for the cup. I know many will say that anything can happen in the playoffs. I for one will tell you that nothing will happen in the playoffs. There is absolutely no character on this team. Nothing. And to add insult to injury we have no captain. Who would ever of thought that this team would go 73 games into a season without a clear indication of who the leader is on the Montreal Canadiens. Molsons wake up and clear out the crap that is running this team. Start with that complete bafoon Boivin."

Doc, what do you think of this realistic and honest habs fan? (yes even i was beginning to wonder if there were any left, it is nice to see one, for once)

There's still hope. I guess not all Habs fans are dumb & narrow-minded. There's still hope.

p.s. I totally agree with what that 'real' fan said.

Thanks. But why will SteveYzerman be on Leno? I assume it's because as GM of Canada he won the gold by beating the American GM Burke, but that was a couple of weeks ago.
Anyway, I appreciate it Doc and I'll try to repay the favor: if I ever hear of any of those figure skating shows that you and lg love to watch I'll be sure to let you know.

I guess you're now up to 1001 posts on this boring subject.

By the way, let's pretend for a moment that I was a habs fan (I'm not, but just to amuse you we'll pretend). How would that have any effect whatsoever on the fact that the leafs suck the big one? Call me a fan of any team you like, since it seems to amuse you so much, but the fact remains that the leafs are crap.

Oh and another amusing observation: TSN posted a blog today listing the best and worst trades of the year. They correctly noted that the Kessel deal was one of the worst (surprise, surprise - NOT!) as it has very likely cost the leafs a future superstar (and not a "merging" one, to use your infamous quote, but a REAL one). The future in TO looks as bleak as the past 43 years and as woeful as the present 29th place squad. Canada's national embarrassment rates to keep its title for DECADES to come. Have fun rooting for your losers!

Yzerman wasn't on, so thanks for nothing! You can forget about me alerting you about those figure skating shows you and lg love to watch when you're "hanging out". It wasn't so bad though because they announced the guests at the start. Once I saw that you had given me a bum steer about Yzerman I just clicked off.

Congrats to the Leafs!

No joke - I mean it. Everyone thought they'd be in last place at this late time in the season, but to their credit they've held on to 29th spot!

With a joke of a GM, a lousy coach, and no on-ice talent, holding on to 29th place is a great achievement! Sincere congratulations to the leafs and their two (and only two!) fans.

By the way, the Bruins say "thank you! thank you! thank you a thousand times!" to Burkie! He's undoubtedly the Executive of the year - in BOSTON, that is!

What a horrific Meltdown !!!..... WOW! ...

Whats funny tho, all i was hearing from scabs fans on the TSN Hockey boards was how with Cammy and Bergeron back and now that the "habs" are fully healthy, the spotty offense was gonna now dominate, lol........ silly scabs fans, they actually think this team can win a cup, talk about Delusional Hockey Fans, there the Worst! always living in the Past and not in reality.. gonna be a rough few years coming .

Hey GSG, do you and your Johnny Weir Loving "pal" have the bangwagon mini parade planned yet? hahaha, better cancel and save your energy for next year :)... well, on second thought, better wait a few years to make those plans.

What a terrible loss of a Valuable Point Tonight, couldnt happen to a better team tho!!!!!!!!!!

Habs blow 2-0 lead with a minute to go!!! Habs lose in overtime!!!!!!!!!

Habs suck!!!!!!!!!! :D

And now, the Horror

Sabres score two late goals in final minute to tie Habs & beat them in shootout

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek scored in the shootout after Buffalo rallied with two late third-period goals, giving the Sabres a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday night.

Tim Connolly scored a power-play goal with 1:59 left in regulation, and Steve Montador tied it with 47.9 seconds left and goalie Ryan Miller off for an extra attacker. Miller made with 26 saves to help the Sabres win their fourth straight game.

Andrei Kostitsyn scored twice, and Carey Price, making his first start since being benched after allowing three first-period goals against Anaheim seven games ago, made 40 saves for Montreal. The Canadiens have lost three straight.

The Canadiens, 4-1-2 in their last seven on the road, received a boost with the return of leading scorer Mike Cammalleri and defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron from injuries. Bergeron assisted in Kostitsyn's second goal.

Connolly scored with Buffalo on the power play, and with Miller out for an extra attacker, to pull the Sabres to within a goal, and Montador scored his first of the season in a scramble in front of Price to tie it at 2.

Kostitsyn popped in his second of the game on the power play 4:57 into the second period to stretch Montreal's lead to 2-0. From the left circle he wheeled around and wristed a shot that handcuffed Miller.

Kostitsyn staked Montreal scored just 41 seconds into the game. Wide open and standing to the right of Miller, Kostitsyn easily tapped in Tomas Plekanec's pass from the left of the net.

why shouldnt he? his scapegoat team won again.. although his "other" team got what GSG calls a loser point tonight (after blowing a 2-0 lead with 3 minutes to go).. btw Doc, "YOUR" Scapegoat team is playing terrible these days, last i knew the Sharks lost 6 in a row!... meanwhile my scapegoat team. (no i still forget which one i picked, lets just say the Capitals) are the #1 team in hockey!
Looks like your having another great day, Joe C. :D

wouldnt it just be your luck if the Bruins got the 3rd pick and had to take Cam Fowler? just what they DONT need, another defenseman, they need scoring and even if they get Seguin or Hall, neither will probably be NHL ready for at least 2-3 years so say NHL Scouts. Dont get me wrong, Fowler is a great prospect, just not gonna solve the B's offensive woes

Your best bet might be to trade the Pick for a top six forward if any team would/can afford to do so. Gonna be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes and what pick Boston ends up with via the Leafs, but we are more than happy to have Kessel, and i hope the Bruins get a decent player, but dont think Hall or Sequin are the next coming of Crosby Malkin or Alexander the Great, there not.

Hall is a very good prospect, dont get me wrong, but his frame is not NHL ready yet, they list him as 6'1 185lbs, but he is nowhere close to that, knowing others who have seen him play alot, he is at most 5'11 170 and needs to add at least 20 lbs of muscle before he can withstand the physical abuse of a full NHL season, thus he will either be in the minors at least one season, or be in the nhl but not have much production, the kid is young and needs to learn, if he was as big as John Taveras or Crosby when they were drafted, i would say keep him the whole season, but he is to easily knocked off his feet, case in point the recent WJC. and the guys in the NHL are ALOT bigger/tougher than anyone playing in the WJC tournament.

Seguin i think will end up being a better player quicker, and maybe overall, but time will tell with him also. Seguin had as many points this season as Hall, yet no supporting cast around him at all compared to Hall. Seguins team scored 86 less goals this season than Halls team. Hall had MUCH more talented players around him, so if the Bruins end up getting Seguin, that doesnt mean their having to settle for 2nd best, not by a long shot. Good Luck, and TY for KESSEL!

As a Bruins fan I'm actually getting a wee bit worried that the Leafs may creep into 28th place since the NY Islanders are only 4 points up on them now!!
