Do not worry guys, the Leafs will be a good team, this year is discovery, next 2 to 5 years they will be big :) They have the best coach and best GM in my opinion.

Ok now here I post in the correct thread:

Big game tonight, I predict: Habs 1 - Bruins 0 :)

Cheers,

No Leafs fan i know is worried at all. This years Leafs games should adopt the lakers old theme of "showtime" because they are so much fun to watch most nights. Good young team who will be great soon, and hopefully the team to beat for years. Detroit, not so much :)

Glad to see Trouba sign, but feel bad he's still in Winnipeg. I don't want to see him traded to the Leafs. Toronto has a good young team with some holes in their lineup; a defencemen and goaltender. Don't want them to be better than the Habs just yet. He would look so much better in a Habs jersey loll!

More Trouba for the Jets opponent tonight was Patrik Laine, whose hat trick now has him leading the NHL in goals with 11 and in the top 5 in points. McDavid 3 points for Edmonton has him tied for the NHL scoring lead. I told you guys he isn't going away, and he has not gone away nor will he. Youth will be served in the NHL this year. It is not fully appreciated but the changing of the guard is underway.

Habs win tonight! Youpie! First in the league folks. Ok we are still early in the season. Honestly, I am also very happy to see the Leafs getting on the positive path, and the Oilers! You got to give credit to the players who accept to play and live in Edmonton for god sake!

Cheers,

Habs win again despite being outshot 43-23. How many games are these guys going to win being outshot 2-1? It seems like being outshot 2-1 is Habs' recipe for victory lately.

If it keeps up & it may very well happen, Carey Price risks getting injured again & you all know how that turned out last season.

That's not what they're saying in Montreal. Every day on radio and on late-night tv sports shows they're already panicking because this season is so much like last season. Tons of shots against and Carey Price saving the fort night after night. David Desharnais and Greg Pateryn are benched. Max Pacioretty & Tomas Plekanec can't score and are playing terrible. But the story is the same one once again: Carey Price.

I think last night's game was possibly the best game they played all season. Shots were rather even and the habs were able to score a few goals to win the game.

Do not really care what the Montreal media says, the Habs could win 30 straight games and lose 3 and called losers by the media. As we all should know, the media is not always right ;)

I totally agree with you. The habs media always finds something to complain about anyway. It's only a matter of time before they start complaining against Michel Therrien and asking for his head.

Right now Scheifele of Winnipeg leading the NHL in scoring with McDavid right on his ass, and Scheifele is tied with Crosby for second in goals behind Patrik Laine. I believe it is quite possible that the 19 year old McDavid and 18 year old Laine will sweep the scoring and goal titles. Youth is being served...........

As of this moment Crosby is the best player in the world, bar none. He has 10 goals in only 8 games btw and is playing the best hockey of his career. He is still young enough to hold onto the title of best player in the world for another year or 2, whether he will or not remains to be seen but don't think McDavid is any better than the "Kid" just yet.

Nobody said Crosby is not the best player but to win the scoring title you need to play 80 games and that isn't happening for Crosby, look at his track record and he is not a year younger this year.

Meanwhile Michael Grabner now has 10 goals for the Rangers and is on pace to score 50. He actually did score 34 goals in his first year with the Islanders, but since then nobody has figured out how to use him, until now.
