3 game losing streak now for the Canadians, things are getting back to normal, time to boycott, habbies fans

:pound:

PS....hopefully thw high flying young Leafs make it 4 later tonight.

Haha I knew you would write something ;) The habs are slowly getting where they belong. As long as they make the playoff with Price healthy, that is pretty much alll we need. No time to boycott tho. Why the hell would we do that, they still rock!

Cheers,

I was talking about this last night to a friend of mine who's a bartender and he told me he & many habs fans wouldn't be surprised if the Leafs beat the habs tonight. They were even saying this on L'Antichambre last night, adding that the Leafs have a lot of young offensive weapons and should have won that first game were it not for Carey Price's heroics. They did also say that the Leafs defence is ordinary, which is absolutely true. Personally, i wouldn't mind if they missed the playoffs this season in order to draft a stud defenceman for the future to play next to the likes of Morgan Rielly & Nikita Zaitsev.

Montreal just has Toronto's number. That is the way it is in sports sometimes. Sometimes teams just own other teams and it seems Montreal simply owns Toronto. When a team has your number they have your number, and not much you can do.

12th win for montreal against Toronto. As much as I do like the city of Toronto, as much as I think their team will be stellar in a short few years, it always feels good to beat them :) Go

The young guns played a wonderful game in a pretty even game where they had their chances and could have won the game. But it's never easy to beat Carey Price on a Saturday night. The Viking had another very strong game defending the Leafs goal. By the way, Andersen was a Calder trophy finalist two years ago while with Anaheim. In the first year of a big five-year contract, i no longer have any doubt he's the Leafs goalie of the future.

On another note, i was sitting next to a few habs fans after the game while enjoying a few beers and overheard them debating whether or not Matthews or Marner had a more promising future. One guy chose Matthews, the other guy Marner. Meanwhile, a buddy of mine who unfortunately also happens to be a habs fan told me Toronto would have an impressive team in the future of they can manage to add a few key pieces to their current core. He also added that he was tremendously impressed by Toronto's speed.

As for the habs, they once again showed they have a problem scoring goals this season. The likes of Max Paccioretty, Brendan Gallagher and David Desharnais have struggled mightily in trying to score goals this season. I'd be surprised if two of those players were still with the team next season.

The Leafs are closing the gap that's true and should be even better in the futur.

As for the Habs Paccioretty and Gallagher are not moving soon, DD and Pleky well let's hope they do trade or just not protect them from the expansion draft with Las Vegas.

The Habs need some dynamic young offensive players, much as the Leafs have. The Habs have settled on these grinder-type dudes, but you can have too many of them. The grinder dudes need to be complimented with some high end, young offensive talent, and I do not really see any, except for Galchenyuk. The Habs need another 2-3 guys like him.

True, the Habs have enough third and forth line players to fill three rosters with the Ice Caps.

But I think Radu is a great find, exciting smart and gritty, he was missed during the 3 game slump.

Byron is proving to be alot better than I knew, happy for him, hope it lasts.

They need another d-man to play with Weber and a real top six on the right wing or center position.

Those moves may only happen at the last minutes of the trade dead line next spring.

High ceiling young players like Toronto have, are never or rarely available, unless you get to draft them.

What is in the water there in NYC? Geez they are unreal so far this season!

Caps destroyed the Pens last week and now the Rangers....Panthere is not going to be a happy camper.... i think a Grrrrrrrrrrrr is coming!
Another 5 goal explosion by the Rangers, this time to erase a 2-0 lead and beat the Penguins 5-2 in Pittsburgh. Grabner scored his 12th tonight.

Michael Grabner scoring goals is even more surprising than a neo-fascist con man winning a US presidential election.

Agree about Grabs scoring goals at the rate he is, he has been a stud so far and hope he keeps it up, always liked him.

Doc, would you like some milk and cookies and a bed time story?

I only 'got you' because i told a good friend of mine you'd be the first to reply to my post if i added something about Trump in it. ;)

And no, i didn't wager this time. My friend doesn't believe in that stuff.

By the way, i may not be able to send any updates tonight since i'm planning to be 'occupied' for a good part of the evening. ;)

However, i predict a Leafs victory! Go Leafs Go! :D
