Would like so BUT very very doubtful my friend,,,,,,they will play without Karlsson and Hertl--who by the way has probably une commotion cérébrale after a bad hit-head qui aurait valu 5 min. penalty BUT niet niet......Pavelski is a game time decision......so Blues have only to take good care of Couture in the same way...and it will be it.......plus agree...not too much left in the tank.......tooooo bad.....enjoy.

Ok I see now . Wasn’t sure if three of their best players would be scratched. That’s not easy to overcome.
It is hard to go deep and win the cup if you lose to many players. But winning the Stanley Cup is a war of attrition and other players need to step up . But yea your right ,it seems to me like we are going to be hearing GLORIA on the loudspeakers at the end of this game. :(

Gaby,

This is probably before you were even born but this is how the last Boston Bruins - St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup Finals ended:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=N4P_TkrYDhg

Observe the pass by Derek Sanderson that set up that winning goal. A few years ago I read Sanderson’s book “Crossing the Line.” It’s one of the best sports books I ever read. In that book he describes how he went from being the highest paid professional athletes in the world in 1973 when he signed with Philadelphia of the WHA to out of the NHL, due to substance abuse and ulcerative colitis, only years later. Sanderson was at one time after his hockey career ended living as a homeless person. It was Bobby Orr who rescued him and put him in rehab, paying for the rehab with Orr’s own money. Sanderson has not had any booze since 1980 and went on to have a very successful career as TV broadcaster on Bruins games and later working for Orr as a financial adviser to athletes.

The Sharks got what they deserved. They should not have even been advanced to that round and then were punished by the Hockey Gods because of the hand pass.

Boston will have the same result as in 1970 when Bobby Orr ended it for the Blues.

As expected the Blues closed out the series at home .
Another disappointing season for the Sharks.
I agree Gaby they need a younger roster , maybe a better goalie even though at times Jones did play well.
In the end where they undeserving to have progressed this far ? Maybe so , they did catch some lucky breaks after all and so the hockey gods have spoken EB .
Better luck to them next year . A better younger team maybe.

Good idea for the Sens to hire a DJ. Their team is so poor at least a DJ will keep up the beat ;)

Cheers,

Look behind you.
Fook, Edmonton picked a decent defenceman, was sure they were going for a winger as they usually do even though they need defence.
Can we still say defenceman, should it be defencepeople?
