Another one of Trudeau's and his ecoterrorist environmental ministers plans shot down in court.

Canada's top court has delivered a highly anticipated judgment, writing in a majority opinion that Ottawa's Impact Assessment Act (IAA) is largely unconstitutional.

The IAA, previously known as Bill C-69, allows federal regulators to consider the potential environmental and social impacts of various resource and infrastructure projects. It was enacted in 2019.

The IAA has long been controversial among conservative politicians in Alberta, including former premier Jason Kenney, who frequently referred to it as the "no more pipelines act."

He is trying his hardest to harm the west but hits legal roadblocks. Like father like son.

I read that the Trudeau administration has been allowing a very high level of legal immigration to Canada, but until I read this article, I didn't realize how much immigration has increased.

Given Canada's relatively small population compared to the vastness of its territory, some level of immigration makes sense. It especially makes sense to allow in people who are well educated and have job skills that are in demand. Preferably, they should also fit well with Canada's culture.

But it seems like Trudeau's immigration program is doing as much harm as good and that a lot of Canadians are not happy with it.

Canada is currently subjecting itself to a bizarre experiment in extreme population growth due to pedal-to-the-metal legal immigration.

Canada’s population rose about 1 percent per year for the first decade and a half of this century. But the Justin Trudeau era began in 2015, and growth was goosed to 1.5 percent by 2019. After a brief pandemic pause, the Trudeau government is now opening the borders extraordinarily wide.

In response, Canada’s annual population growth rate hit 3.0 percent in the third quarter of 2023, the kind of rise normally associated with Bangladesh in the 1980s. Over the summer, Canada’s population reached 40 million, up from 30 million in 1997.

The number of nonpermanent residents was allowed to soar by almost 700,000 in the past twelve months. There are now 46 percent more foreigners in Canada temporarily, mostly on work and study permits, than one year ago, the largest annual increase in the half century for which the Canadian government has data.

Granted, some of these recent arrivals are Ukrainian women refugees, but the government’s target is 465,000 permanent immigrants this year rising to 500,000 in 2025, about 1.2 percent of the population annually, four times the rate at which the United States lets in immigrants.

It’s a big world out there, and billions of people live in countries that their kin have helped make lousier than Canada. So there’s no end to how many immigrants Canada can recruit. (At least until Canada’s standard of living converges with its source countries like Pakistan.)

The official Statistics Canada government agency projected in 2022:

…the Canadian population would reach 47.7 million in 2041, and 25.0 million of them would be immigrants or children of immigrants born in Canada, accounting for 52.4% of the total population…. Canada’s population may reach…between 44.9 million and 74.0 million in 2068, according to the various projection scenarios.

Back in 1996, less than 6 percent of Canada’s population were minorities. But according to the government:

In 2041, about 2 in 5 Canadians will be part of a racialized group.

To digress briefly, if you are wondering what’s the point of the euphemism “racialized” for nonwhites, this is another Canadian innovation in woke jargon, like “BIPOC.” The idea is, apparently, that, because all good people know that Race Does Not Exist Genetically, but on the other hand, the government is obsessed with counting by race, the Canadians have squared that verbal circle. They’ve decided that while nonwhites aren’t nonwhite racially, because race doesn’t exist, they are thought to be “nonwhite” because they’ve been racialized by whites, whose lying eyes tell them that the racialized look like they might have different ancestors than they do.

Or something...

Few things you must understand. First as vast as Canada is, people are not spreading out because it is too cold. Australia has the same issue where people are concentrated at the coastal cities and the center remains sparsely populated because it is too hot and dry. It is not like the USA where population is more equally distributed. Immigrants like to go to the big cities and that is where the problem is. The Golden Horseshoe area is the most densely populated area of Canada most immigrants want to go to Toronto. Futhermore Trudeau and even Mulroney are part the Century Initiative ->

They plan to raise the population of Canada to 100 million by 2100, they want the Greater Toronto Area to have 33.5 million people and the Greater Montreal Area to 12.2 million. That is utter madness. This organization has no structured plan only to increase immigration via any means so they are piling as many people as they can. Most other countries bring in economic immigrants. Every average joe especially the younger generation is effected by this, rents are sky high, houses very expensive, food prices very high, inflation high, etc..

The reasons why they are doing this is first to increase government tax revenue and they are getting lobbied by corporations to increase the population, more populations means higher prices.

As usual, Trudeau promises but delivers nothing. The grocery stores will not confirm/commit to lower prices. As always virtue signalling from Trudeau. 20231003_194156.jpg

Remember, Trudeau promised that grocery prices will be lower by Thanksgiving, it is way passed and I saw no difference. Everything that comes out of Trudeau's mouth is a lie.

On another note, Trudeau is forcing big grocery stores to cut plastic and remove it from wrapping in things like vegetables and other produce. The timeline given is till 2026. Expect prices to climb even higher by 30%. Plastic is impermeable so it prevents mold from spreading and moisture from entering. The alternatives will cost a lot more and there will be more food spoilage. None of these things cost the politicians one dime, costs are usual passed on to the customer. This is Trudeau for you.

Canadians are struggling to pay their mortgages, pay rents, and buy food. This is how he got us here. During the fake pandemic, the Trudeau Liberals began printing money to give handouts (CERB) as the economy was shut down for a virus that had less then 1% severe hospitalization rate. Despite warnings that this would cause mass inflation, Trudeau dismissed critics by insisting that "interest rates are at their historic lows". Also Trudeau continues to have a mass immigration policy fueling big demand for rents, food, and houses which will also trigger big inflation.

As the Trudeau Liberals were printing an unprecedented amount of money in 2021 and still bringing in so many immigrants, Justin Trudeau infamously stated "I don't think about monetary policy." Shortly after, Canada began experiencing Trudeau's inflation disaster.

The Bank of Canada and the Trudeau Liberals apparently did not see this inflation crisis coming (I doubt it I am sure it was done on purpose). When inflation first began rising, the Trudeau Liberals dismissed it as "transitory" and said that it would go away in the near future. Nearly two years later, inflation is still here.

To combat Trudeau's inflation disaster, the Bank of Canada has dramatically increased interest rates. Trudeau keeps on bringing in more immigrants and has increased the targets to levels never seen before. Rapid population increase ensures that the Bank of Canada's efforts to slow down inflation is undermined. Canadians now have to pay higher interest on credit cards and auto loans, but the biggest pain for people across the country is the rising costs of mortgages. Canadians with mortgages are now paying renewal rates significantly higher than what they ever expected, a trend which is likely to lead to a large amount of foreclosures.

Sky-high housing costs combined with unaffordable mortgages also keeps new homebuyers out of the market. The Bank of Canada responded to this simply extending amortization terms to allow 35 year mortgages. So if a 30 yr old Canadian buys a house with a 35 year payback term, the house will not be paid off until their retirement, assuming they can afford it.

Looking at all these things, Polievre is a much more appealing choice to be the next prime minister. You just cannot do worse then Justin Trudeau.

By refusing to allow Canadian natural gas to be developed and exported to Europe, Trudeau is helping make terrorist rich and also denying Canada a big boost to its economy. Since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, leaders from around the world have come to Canada begging us to develop our natural gas. From the Germans to the Japanese to the European Union, Trudeau said no to all of them.

As a result, many of the countries that wanted Canadian natural gas turned to the gulf kingdom of Qatar (any wonder Qatar is a rich country). Qatar is one of the largest funders of terrorism and hosts the leaders of Hamas, the group which committed the recent massacre in Israel.

German chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Canada in late 2022 with the hope of securing a gas deal. Just weeks after being snubbed by Trudeau, the Germans signed a 15 year natural gas supply deal with Qatar. When Japanese prime minister Kishida Fumio came to visit Canada in the hopes of securing a natural gas deal, he too was snubbed by Trudeau. The Japanese government is now also in talks with Qatar to secure a natural gas deal.

The European Union also wants to import natural gas from Canada, but cannot do so due to lack of Canadian export capacity. Aside from Germany, other EU states such as the Netherlands and France have signed major gas deals with Qatar in the past year.

When Trudeau refuses to champion Canadian energy, he helps terrorists get rich and denies Canada a big economy boost. Let us make Canadians rich instead.

The Trudeau Liberals just spent $8 million to replace a single barn at Rideau Hall. The barn was one of the many buildings owned by the National Capital Commission which has fallen in disrepair. But does it really cost $8 million to build a barn?

The barn's high cost can be largely attributed to the Liberals' desire to make it carbon net-zero. "The zero-carbon building design not only surpasses building code standards, but the fact that the standard requires the building to have on-site energy generation will also lower our energy demands." the NCC said.

It is part of a pattern of poor budgeting choices, NCC spending $11 million to renovate Trudeau's cottage last year plus another $2.3 million in security upgrades. Is this why Canadians are being forced to pay a carbon tax? Is this why Trudeau has a mass immigration policy to increase the government's tax base (more revenue) which is making rents, house prices sky high, food expensive to so Trudeau can live in a lap of luxury? What a waste of tax dollars.

Even though there is a housing crisis and food prices are soaring, the POS Trudeau is still bringing in record number of asylum seekers who will get a free hotel and monthly paychecks. Taxpayers will be forced to foot the bill for leechers. Even though they shut down Roxham Rd, the dummy made is easier for them to come, Canada is experiencing a massive surge in asylum applications at our airports after Trudeau changed visa rules. In February the Trudeau Liberal made two changes to Visa applications:

  1. Visitors no longer have to prove they have sufficient funds to stay in Canada
  2. Visitors no longer have to demonstrate they will leave when their visa expires
As a result, asylum applications at Canadian airports is up 54% over last year. The rapid rise poses a problem for Canada's immigration bureaucracy, Since very little screening is done for those seeking visas, the refugee system must spread its resources thin to screen more applicants in more depth. Yet reducing the burden on visa screening, there is still a massive backlog of 2.2 million visa applications for those seeking to come to Canada. Our immigration system is broken. Trudeau broke it. It is time for this POS to resign.

Trudeau seems to be bringing anyone to Canada in his attempt to increase Canada's population as much as possible. Since the 70's Canada's population has doubled to the detriment of the average joe. The healthcare system cannot handle all these extra people, houses are at an all time high putting most Canadians out of reach to ever own a home, rents are sky, food prices keep on going up as more people is causing more shortage therefore even though the quality of the food went down it still sells. The rich corporations and rich are raking in millions of dollars thanks to Trudeau's mass immigration policy. Let this be known Trudeau is for the rich. He is helping the rich get richer at the expense of the poor and middle class. With each day the middle class is shrinking. These last two years Trudeau will do major damage. Like Sun Tzu said "An evil man will burn his own nation to the ground to rule over the ashes". That is representative of Trudeau.

Direct Quote from Article:

The report also theorizes some of the increase in the number of applications made at airports could be linked to Canada’s waiving of certain eligibility requirements for visitor visa applicants.

In an effort to clear a backlog of immigration applications, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in February waived the requirements that visitor visa applicants show the availability of sufficient funds and demonstrate that they will leave the country when their visas expire.

Trudeau caved in to Conservative pressure to suspend tax on home heating oil in Atlantic Canada. Why is Trudeau flip flopping all of a sudden? Trudeau is in panic mode. The Liberals are loosing ground in every province except Quebec. This suspension of taxes on home heating oil is nothing but a scam to get reelected. Fortunately, people are not falling for Justin Castro's lies anymore, this will do nothing to change his dismal poll results.

Direct Quote from the Article:

With this week’s flip-flop lifting carbon pricing for heating oil until 2027 (pushing increases beyond the next election) and a doubling of the rural tax rebate, the severely rattled Liberals are chipping away at the load-bearing wall beneath their environmental platform.
The change raises questions about the two cornerstones of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s carbon pricing policy. It suggests the cost is indeed becoming a financial burden to average Canadians and, by boosting the rebate, the government seems to admit its plan was not revenue-neutral.
There is logic to the announced changes, which will largely benefit Atlantic Canadians. Homeowners there are uniquely dependent on oil for home heating and have few mass transit options for getting around.

But there’s no easy way to ignore the gall in Trudeau aiming this tax break and rebate squarely at the East Coast Liberal stronghold where polling numbers are palliative for his incumbent MPs.

The most jaw-dropping explanation for this policy softening is Trudeau insisting it represents a “doubling down” of his government’s commitment to fight climate change.

Huh? Either Trudeau doesn’t understand that "doubling down" and "watering down" are not synonymous or he’s deliberately misleading Canadians. Either way is not a good look.

And it goes straight to the heart of a prime minister’s character when, after eight years of selling carbon pricing for all while demonizing those who dare question it as knuckle-dragging climate change deniers, he’s suddenly open to poll-driven exemptions in voter regions of Liberal importance.

As commentator Chantal Hebert notes, this surprise retreat would be akin to former prime minister Brian Mulroney, having picked up the smell of death hovering over his government, suddenly trying to save his skin by ending the GST in a bid to win the 1993 election.

Mulroney, to his credit, opted to keep the GST and quit as leader the year before his Conservative party was reduced to electoral rubble under Kim Campbell.

Trudeau has taken a polar opposite approach by sacrificing parts of a very unpopular policy while stubbornly sticking around as leader.

That doesn’t mean a Liberal decimation election result won’t still happen.

Atlantic Canadians might not re-embrace the Liberals just because crass geographical politics delivered them a $250 tax break. Judging by the large Maritime crowds at meet-and-greet events for Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, many voters have already shifted their Liberal loyalties.

The BOC governor is now saying that Trudeau's excessive spending is part of the cause of inflation. I like to add also that Trudeau's mass immigration policy is also contributing to inflation. It is time for Trudeau to resign. Polievre has his faults but he is a far better choice then Trudeau because the alternative is madness.

Direct Quote from the Article:

The Bank of Canada’s efforts to tame inflation by raising interest rates are at odds with the projected pace of government spending, says governor Tiff Macklem.

Macklem was asked what impact government spending plans are having on the path for inflation. He reiterated that fiscal policy is the purview of elected officials, and that the central bank’s role there is only to bake government spending plans into its forecast.

Macklem went on to urge fiscal policymakers to consider the “inflationary impact” of their spending decisions when making up their budgets.

“It’s going to be easier to get inflation down if monetary and fiscal policy are rowing in the same direction,” he said.
Remember that driving up demand with spending is one thing, but also rapidly increasing the population with excessive immigration is also driving up demand. Anything that drives up demand without supply being increased will make inflation higher. This is not rocket science folks, just basic economics 101.

This year official immigration is close to 600k, almost double of the average of the last 20 years, that was already one of the highest of the planet. If you include so called "temporary" workers (who will be permanent quickly), refugees and international students the total is close to 1,4 million in one year. This is the total population of the province of Manitoba to give a benchmark. All these people need housing, doctors, schools, Jobs, groceries .... so a huge imbalance of offer and demand planned and executed every year by our gvt. Diversity is our strength

It's scary to think there is still another 2 years before he is dethroned.. and that's hoping that those who have always voted liberal realize where the blame of our situation today lies, and doesn't continue to remain liberal diehards.
