I am curious to know how some SPs are tracking the effectiveness of their merc advertisement campaigns? How can an SP be so sure that merc is sufficient for her needs now? Most these SPs and agencies did not even have the idea to add some JavaScript tracking code to their sites. That's why, I am more and more inclined to think that the money they pay merc is for protection and not for visibility.

Montreal is and has been historically an "area of gray" where dark waters run deep in support of a more stylish facade. Putting a slightly different light on things, most items and services have a derivation in need.

Another thing: have you noticed the terrible problems the independents on the blue have been having? I ask all here to confirm that it isn't part of the attack to bring the blue to its knees and condemn the creeps... Please... this is getting out of hand...

Dee's ethics regarding the protection of escorts leaves out the fact Tom/Wickerman/Wicked man ran the old Heartbreakers agency which was shut down for practices in the form of exploitation.

Dee isn't concerned that Dissection Tool/Ziggy was one of the leading campaigners against reviews for escorts because he demanded to be paid for the reviews...not because of any concern for the ladies.

Dee doesn't care that the ugliest, longest lasting, and painful feud episode on any board was caused when Dissection Tool/Ziggy didn't have enough money to pay for a duo, leading to bitterness and enmity between him, other hobbyists, and the ladies.

Dee also has no concern that the second leading product in blueland is slander of escorts driving away their business led by Tony and Dissection Tool/Ziggy.

So much for Dee's concern that anyone may "hurt" escorts and deprive them of business.

Sapman, I admire your determination in trying to defend yourself against a troll and convincing the owner of MERC. But I think it is useless. I have long ago stopped defending against the troll. I would suggest reading the wiki on Internet trolls. The problem with trolls is not the trolls themselves but the forum owners accepting them.

So, anyway, where are we now? My understanding is that Tom has responded that has no intention to do anything about it and asked that we mind our own business. Does that come as a surprise to anyone?

I am not interested in knowing what sapman thinks of DT nor what Merlot thinks of Dee nor what everyone thinks of CSM. I am interested in the member’s reaction to Tom’s answer.

Roland, It was posted earlier in this thread by the Mods here that this board owner actually gives full authority and with no restrictions to run the daily operations of this board, unlike how Tom is clearly too paranoid to permit his Mods full reign on the daily workings and decisions of Merc.

As kind as your gesture is, I'm sure that Merb mods have all the tools allowed by the board's owner to know if Gugu is the one that you claim he is.

I have no idea about what these non-stop discussions are all about on both boards. Just a certain amount of grown men that have issues with each other. Bigboyeddie, like Dee and Roland, you just don't seem to understand do you? When one of the people causing problems and allowing threats, insults, false accusations and pure bullshit to be posted is the OWNER of merc, then there's a serious problem. The mods here have always kept this board free of posts directed at the other board and have always removed posts directed at posters that can't reply here. But for some reason, lack of posts, lack of reviews, lack of decent posters, Tom has let his board become more of a place to attack MERB than it is a review board. Finally the mods have decided to let us reply to almost a year of pure shit, accusations, threats and insults thrown at us and we are going to have our say. You may find it funny, but being on the receiving end of all this garbage for so long is nothing to laugh about or laugh at.

If you, Dee and Roland are such responsible people, why don't you try to speak up over there where we can't and try to get things changed. I sent Tom a PM and asked him nicely to remove the false accusations made about me and he refused. Our e-mails just degraded from there. That just proved to me that he's desperate for posts and traffic and will allow anything to be posted to get it. The man has no conscience or honour. I have also met both Dee and Roland on many occasions and considered them to be almost 'friends' but Dee became one of the main problems and Roland is just a blind follower it seems. If you aren't going to try to clean things up, then you become part of the problem by your silence and you're just as guilty as the people making the posts. We didn't start this but we aren't going to just sit back and take it any more.

For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would want to be part of a board where shit like that is allowed to continue. Don't you people have any pride at all? It's my sense now that we're spinning in circles and, as such, I've little to add. As far as I'm concerned, we've done what we can and the rest is in the hands of Tom and his advertisers.
