I'm guessing the board will vote 60-40 in favor of PCC. But just like most voting polls here... there won't be any enough participation to be anywhere close to being statistically sound.

Can't stand Polievre, big doubts about Carney. Honestly, as a centrist, I miss Jack Layton now more than ever.

I really miss the days when we had real candidates, with real platforms and real vision... this country is doomed at this rate, the same way the states are headed full steam ahead towards an iceberg in daylight.

But not voting... that's just wrong. Its our civic duty and an important priviledge and the only time you can actually voice your opinion when it matters. Don't like any of the parties? Or your ride is too dominant, the vote still matters. You can't cancel a vote on the federal level. which means that the vote simply isn't tallied at all if its spoiled. Worst case, vote green... gives them a little funding even if they will never be in power, its good to have some vocal opposition but most important, it increases the turnout. its a tiny signal... but a signal nonetheless.

The polls show how divided people are and the media polls reflect this reality. That is because the candidates are either too far left or too far right. There is no centrist moderate option. I for once agree with Neverbored about Jack Layton. The current leader of the NDP Singh is a shame to what Layton was for the NDP. Singh is totally corrupt and a lieing snake just like Trudeau was. I hate Trudeau. So far Carney appears grounded and less extreme left-wing then Trudeau, but I do not trust him because his entire cabinet are the same people that supported Trudeau's ridiculous policies and he got a garbage like Mark Wiseman in his team who wants 100 million people by 2100, that is totally absurd. The young people will be the deciding factor at this point, they are usually the ones the least likely to vote, but with the current situation with an affordability crisis, they may come out this time to vote. We had some great leaders in the past.

Mr. Blanchet fait de très bon points forts contre Carney et ça fait mon bonheur. Les autres candidats aussi. PP a bel et bien dit que les libéraux veulent augmenter les taxes sans fin hahahha.

Liberals love taxing people and not using the resources Canada has. It’s insanity…

A person with a yearly income of $100,000 cannot get a mortgage lmao… but it’s okay to pay $2,500+ a month on rent. Can’t afford to keep being poor for another decade. This affects us all and future generations.

it really sucks to live in an electoral district where you hate all the parties that have any chance to win

I hate everyone HAHAHAHA. It’s all an illusion of choice. Now I’m gonna get conspiratorial. And I don’t wanna start. Poor - poorer. Rich - richer.
The middle class is being annihilated.
Can’t stand someone who is in charge that didn’t get voted in … he can’t even speak coherent French.

There are so many Marxists in Canada. I have been arguing with a member on Terb for the past couple of weeks, he calls himself a Democratic Socialist. Loool There are many more like him. It amazes me how in this day and age there are still so many that embrace Marxism.

On the French debate Carney was doing the same thing Trudope was trying to justify and convince everyone that mass uncontrollable immigration is good and that is what Canadians want. Are people so blind to this? Carney will do the same thing and the housing crisis will keep on getting worse. The poor gets poorer and the rich gets richer.

Same recycled BULLSHIT monologue from years ago. They actually have a side by side comparison with the same regurgitated verbal diarrhea that shows JT say the same stupidities and “promises” that Mark Clowney is now REpromising

Trouble is so many people especially in the GTA think Carney is the messiah because he was a banker. Go figure.

Actually some of us ( including boomers lol) have been liberal voters for an entirely different reason, mostly because it was the only alternative to the Block and not voting for separation.
Historically no other party besides the liberals had a chance, so voting for any other if you believed in a Canada that includes Quebec it would have been a waisted vote.
Today however they will not get mine.
Ironically most times I preferred the Blocks’s platform with the exception of breaking up the country, and had I been raised as a French Canadian for sure I would have voted for them, I understand the value of keeping your language and culture as I have hung on to mine and made sure my children speak it and know it even though they speak several other languages as well and were born here.

Yes. How times have changed! I used to vote liberal also for entirely different reasons as well!
Also I love smart, cool boomers. Aka my parents. Love those old fards.

I also find this to be very important. To speak the language and preserve our culture.

Well Carney said he would support the Supreme Court to intervene on Bill 96. During the French debate, all except Poilievre said they would keep on sending taxpayers money to Gaza. We should not be sending taxpayers money to foreign countries. You know what this means? It means that taxes are too high. With a cost of living crisis, time for government to cut its spending.
