COVID-19: une clinique mobile à Mercier le 9 juillet
La Ville de Mercier confirme mardi qu’une clinique de dépistage mobile se tiendra le 9 juillet prochain au centre communautaire Roger-Tougas.
Saying to be very concerned about the magnitude of the events that have followed one another in the past few days, the City of Mercier asked the Montérégie Public Health Department that a mobile screening clinic be dispatched to the territory.
The information was confirmed in a press release on Tuesday afternoon.
"We are very pleased with the rapid response from the public health department and we offer them all of our logistical support," said Mercier mayor Lise Michaud.
Recall that the origin of a possible outbreak would be at least two parties, including one held in Saint-Chrysostome or sixty young people were present on June 28.
The Montérégie Public Health Department told La Presse that people present at a party in Saint-Chrysostome and another party elsewhere on the South Shore were declared positive at COVID-19.
Many young people do not think of others and especially of all the collateral damage.
Which means that the coronavirus is still present.
We must not let our guard down.
