Yep you are back to the flu again.
270 million people did not get the flu and 5,300,000 people didn’t die of the flu.
The flu did not destroy the worlds economy so please stop with this ridiculous comparison.
Personally I don’t really care what you do and if you get vaccinated or not, your choice, but just like you were ready to lock up the old and vulnerable in the beginning so you could enjoy life to the fullest, I have no problems with you being restricted to restaurants etc without a vaccine passport.

Lets be clear, it was the government NOT covid that destroyed the economy then they come to the rescue with government social benefits funded by taxpayers and say if it were not for us you would be in big shit. In essence they break your legs then give you crutches and claim to have helped you.

Why is this bullshit, precautions and obligation to get treated or isolated apply to other diseases such as tuberculosis, polio, diphtheria, etc.. why is caring about others such a problem for you?

Now we are splitting hairs.
It was governments throughout the world reacting to Covid in most cases ineffectively as they have never faced anything like this.
No other virus has caused this kind of havoc throughout the world in many decades, none killed close to 51/2 million people and if governments didn’t react they would have been crucified.
Do I agree with everything they have done of course not I don’t think anybody does.
If anything it did create a system of manufacturing and distributing and bringing new and effective vaccines to market much better and faster than ever before.

You know there were far more deadly viruses then covid. The Black Plague, Smallpox, and the Spanish Flu. These were responsible with far more deaths and had a much higher mortality. Yet much less damage was suffered given the mortality of those viruses compared to covid and the reason is way too much government protection and interference. Covid is nothing compared to these other diseases. The Black Plague eliminated almost 70% of the European population. Problem is the government that is making it a big deal and a big problem out of something that is not so big. We get bombarded by government funded ads 24/7 about vaccines and covid. All they talk about is covid and keep reminding you how it is a pandemic. You are right we never faced this before but I mean we never faced so much government interference and this whole covid thing is so political.

Was media capable of sensationalizing it and whipping people into a panic and frenzy like today.
Was the population of the world anywhere near as capable of spreading it throughout the world and as quickly as today.
Governments had no other choice but to react and still do otherwise they would be crucified.
I not only blame government but the media they are the cause of panic now days not just for Covid but for most things today.
Fake news and even factual news today creates panic within hours of anything happening.
Governments are forced to react almost instantly by the media panic driven people.

Of course. The media is as much responsible but remember that media is subsidized by the government. They will always spread government propaganda. So in essence the media is being used as a tool by the government, they create fear then the government comes to the rescue with lockdowns and restrictions. The media keeps reporting facts in a way to cause fear and they always sensationalize the data. And one last thing, before there was no United Nations. The UN is the root of all problems. They are spreading their Globalist Socialist agenda.

Without the media, yes there would be less panic, but unfortunately many more deaths.

And without the media pushing for immunization, our % immunization would be much lower.

If you are currently suffering from it positively without a shadow of a doubt, then yes isolate for 2 weeks. The issue is this is a 2 weeks virus (in most cases for symptoms, and in all cases for contagion) yet they treat everybody as if they had it at all time. The concept of being asymptomatic being big enough of a deal to warrant this show that in most case this virus ain't even dangerous to most peoples.

Also my point of this post was that if you got vaccinated you are protected anyway, so stop acting like an anxious and fear everybody everywhere. When i see peoples who got vaccinated saying this like the pass concept because it make them feel safer... What the heck you fear? You GOT VACCINATED ! YOU are protected. You shouldn't be fearing someone who didn't.

Precisely. I think we all agreed to the initial (for at least 3-4 weeks) lockdown because we were in front of the unknown. Better safe than sorry. BUT after so many time passed, we are not in front of the unknown anymore. We know what is Covid and we know a vast majority of its panic is cause by media/governement fueling it. The fact that the media always call it "the pandemic" and not "the Covid" is because "Pandemic" has a more serious, fear indulcing tone.

I said it before and ill say it again... without the medias reminding us daily (on behaf of the governement) most of us would not even know we are in a "pandemic". We would live our lives normally, and a few of us would maybe get sick, most would see it as a flu and spend a few days in bed at home, a minority would go to the hospital and be tell they have Covid... still they would heal. A VERY VERY small portion would get in ICU and even less die.

And without governement being so controlling and abusing power, there would not had been so many peoples turning down vaccination and getting frustrated and just wanting to go against them.
