Authoritarian governments and anti-democracy political and media entities use fear and disinformation to control the people. We are more than 2 and a half years into the pandemic. The common sense public health measures used initially have been mitigated as we now have safe and effective vaccines and anti-viral therapy.

They are still trying their best to keep the fear going in an attempt to reinstate covid mandates. It is what they want to do except many people see this scam for what it is. How many people you see that are still wearing a mask? Not many.
Respectfully, I disagree. Nobody wants to reinstate the initial covid restrictions. We have vaccines and anti-virals now. Personally, I don't find wearing a mask in crowded indoor places especially onerous. That's my choice - not out of fear but rather an abundance of caution.
This is happening all across Canada and Trudeau wants to increase immigration further (the POS lost his mind). Increasing the population will only put make the healthcare system more worse not to mention make the housing crisis worse.
Glad to see your a supporter of law and order, we needed more people who think like you during our "mostly peaceful" riots in the states around the same time. Burning cities, rioting, assaulting people, murder, etc. were nothing compared to a person going from a pink zone to a purple zone in a yellow car with the intent of a green violation.
I don't get why you feel so unsecured. We just have to use common sense, now that most are vaccinated and almost everybody was contaminated by Omicron in the last year. Let's take care and respect the older people who are still at risk by wearing mask when we have symptoms. Simple as that. No need to imagine the worst. The situation is a lot different than it was early 2021, almost 2 years ago. And let's get the new vaccines that are designed toward Omicron strains.
