I always love your historical view, EB. And I don’t even know if the Eleganza issues back in the day resulted in the type of hysteria with booking agencies we’re seeing on Merb now, right?

I don't believe the Eleganza arrest got too much media scrutiny. It did have a thread on MERB, but it came to light MUCH later. I think Joe was running Eleganza while John was in jail so the agency was not actually shut down by LE. It continued for a while after the arrest- maybe months or even a year. At the time, it didn't cause too much of a ripple of concern because John apparently was recruiting some girl who was a minor, her parents found the messages or emails and went to the police. It was never clear if John knew the girl was a minor. This is what my memory is of what occurred - I could be wrong.

The truth is if the police wanted to bust all the agencies in Montreal they could had done so a long time ago. They deliberately CHOSE to let them run business. Maybe because to them its easier to keep an eye on it that way and its safer for the women. The question is "will this situation with XO make them change their stance on this?".

It's always been safer to book outcall! Not many of you, even the locals posting here, remember that in the 2000s predominately Montreal agencies were running outcalls. The only one I remember runnnig an incall was called "Le Filles de Mr. Jacques", also known as LFMJ. It was only in the 2010s that the incall agencies rose up: Good Girls, Euphoria, XO and a slew of copycats. They all figured out they could make more money with incalls. However I guess the outcall model and learning from the discretion of their historical precessors now is looking good, all of a sudden?

Are we completely forgetting the history of the business here?

by my memory Les FIlles de Mr Jacques was outcall. Used them a few times but I had to rent a room on Saint Jacques Street.
Notable early incall agencies: Private Lies, ABC Softies, ZZ Cream, Plaisirs rebels, Econolodge, and a couple others. I had tried them all.
The first incall agency I ever tried was Private Lies (98-99) I called from a phone booth. I was so nervous I asked the receptionnist about the legality of incalls, to which she did not know what to answer. I had done my research, Outcall was 100% legal, Incall 100% illegal.
I went anyways and saw a girl at the Lord Berri downtown. It was the beginning of a long journey.

Same here not to mention the simplicity in booking. No government ID, no deposit, no LinkedIN, no need to write emails in a way they want you to write to please them, just a simple text and you are off to go. If I stop using agencies, I will surely not use Indys that is for sure.

Plenty of reasons. You have to book a hotel - thus very often nullifying the price advantage to using agencies.
Maybe you don't want SP's coming to your home? Maybe some people have kids or a spouse, etc...

All reasons why people use incall. in and out. Clean and quick.

Doing outcalls make very perfect sense looking at a safety perspective. Especially if you are a traveler coming to Montreal. Also saves times where she comes to you.

Incalls are good too but ONLY if the girl is doing it at a HOTEL and not some apartment/condo owned by the agency/pimp. Doing the apartment/condo is just open target sitting duck move. Would only do this approach if I am a local. When the HDH market was in full swing and Montreal was visiting the major U.S. cities that was the way to go.

If you are a tourist it's an expense you incur anyway, and if you are a local it's called paying for liability insurance. Liability insurance is paid for to reduce exposure to a known risk- namely, being arrested for illegal conduct as opposed to not being arrested for legal conduct. That was the very risk under discussion above before you posted. It's not clear to me from your post if you are aware of that discussion- which is what I was responding to.

Of course, many people roll the dice and opt not to pay for liability insurance. And you can do the same thing here by using incall and assuming the risk of whatever happens. Some posters have posted they no longer want to assume that risk. It's all about what level of risk you can live with. And how much you are willing to pay for insurance to reduce that risk.

I must have seen over 20 girls from LFMJ/JDM over the years & i don’t recall them ever doing incall. Plus the fact their rates were $100-130 per hour at the time i can’t see how they’d even want to offer incall. I’m 100% certain that you’re confusing them with another agency.

There weren’t many incall agencies in those years. I can only think of Private Lies which is where i met the famous Nelly Arcand (a.k.a. Marilyn) at the old Clarion Hotel a.k.a. Manoir LeMoyne on DeMaisonneuve. I remember the stark difference between hobbying in Toronto as compared to Mtl where incalls ruled in Toronto compared to outcalls which is why i mostly saw ladies from agencies like Dreammakers & Cupids, which were mostly outcalls. I did do a couple of incalls at the King Edward, the Delta Chelsea (in a room two doors away from mine!) and some condo near where the old Maple Leaf Gardens was located. As for Mtl i had a total of two incalls which happened at the BW Europa & at the Queen Elizabeth with a Nadya’s superstar & the other one with an indy.

I’ve always preferred outcall for several reasons including security/privacy reasons. Early in my hobbying career i was having dinner in Old Mtl with a popular indy at the time & she asked me whom i was planning to see. She also owned her agency & looking for talent so she had mentioned to me that of ever i found a gem at one of the lower priced agencies (such as LFMJ) that i could give the girl her private number if she wanted to make more money & work for a more high end agency operated by a woman who’s also an escort like she is. When i mentioned to her that i was considering doing an incall with a ‘masseuse’ named Sandrine at La Citee she freaked out & told me that i was taking a huge risk withni calls because she had heard many of these places have hidden cameras. So i always remembered her words & she kind of got me paranoid about it early on. So that’s probably why i avoided incalls in my first years hobbying. Unfortunately i never got to meet Sandrine! Lol. Speaking of hidden cameras. One time i was staying at a brand new condo next to the Bell Centre during the Grand Prix. The airbnb condo i rented that week was owned by Chinese immigrants. My go-between was a young chinese girl who looked like she was 18. When i left a few days later she was in a Bentley driven by her mother & after i handed her the keys they offered to give me a ride to my hotel so i accepted & they dropped me off at the Hyatt Regency (now the Doubletree). Nice people. Anyways all week long i had a strange feeling that i was being watched. I remember walking around nude in the apartment prior & after my shower & suddenly getting that feeling of being watched. I saw a couple of ladies at that place & ended up having sex on the sofa, in the bedroom & in the shower. Later when i read an article about some airbnb places caught with hidden cameras i remembered that feeling i had staying at that condo! Lol.

You are probably right I was confusing LFMJ with someone else, but their website was all in French as I recall, and it may have been that I misunderstood them to be offering an incall service and that misunderstanding was never corrected. Nobody is going to dispute that my French sucked, then and now.

The more important point of my original post was the one you also made, which I placed in bold- that I do not remember many incall agencies at that time. I was struggling to think of ANY that did incalls. And why was that???? If incall was this great moneymaking business model for agencies, why was nobody doing it at that time? And were locals booking hotels or how were they getting serviced? WHY WAS IT THAT THERE WERE NO INCALL AGENCIES?

They have not after clients, yet. But PoPo now have all the phone numbers of every client who ever made an appointment…..

If they have any imagination at all, they could make calls and I’m pretty sure about 10% of the clients would fin a way to incriminate themselves….

I knew the new chief would stat cracking down on the industry, he did in Longueuil before….

By now, I only see a few ladies that I have known for a while, no agencies, no LL…. But I’ll need time to think this whole thing over. I can’t risk getting medled up with this crap.

A burner phone is not 100% fool proof. The networks records the IMEI of the phone used and which cell tower was used. Telecommunication companies keep a record of that. So if you used your debit card/credit card to buy that phone if police wanted to they can trace it back to you because you left a trace.

If you pay cash no such issue. Why would anyone use a credit card to buy a burner phone???????? Like WTF, that totally defeats the purpose. There are 2 Kings in this world: Cash and Elvis.
