Our little buddy Joey Cairo is on quite a roll!
Today's game in New Jersey will be a tough one to win.
The Leafs deserved a better fate, but lost because of very poor goaltending on the part of their backup goalie.
Almost a 2:1 margin !!!
I don't know if you guys realize this but there are 4 teams tied with 80 points, Columbus, Detroit, Washington, and Toronto, and these 4 teams are fighting for 2 available playoff spots. 2 of these teams will make it, and 2 will go home and watch the games on TV. But at the moment all 4 are all tied in points.
Which 2 will make the playoffs?
I've been following this site for about five years and they've been always right on the money.

As you can see, based on upcoming schedule and wins in regulation, the odds are now heavily in favour of Detroit and Columbus.
PS. Go Wings Go (in OT or SO) tonight.
For tonight only.........

Dayum! If she had a Leafs shirt on she would be PERFECT!
To be fair, the Red Wings deserved a better fate. But their fate was sealed by the ineptitude of goaltender Jimmy Howard, who has been terrible for most of the season. Howard was fighting the puck all night long and regularly giving huge rebounds to the opposing team.
