Ott wont win the serie. To win, they need the referees and officials' complicity to be allowed to play their poor violent and provocation game.

Referees and officials found it brilliant fun to see Montreal out, they found it entertaining to see Pitts lose a game, but they want Pitts in Finale, so IMO they will no longer let the Senators act with impunity...

constant whining... at times, i wonder if he's not related to Michel Therrien.

I just write my thought. Happy to read you're not agree with me, but sad to realize you cant find any arguments and so just try desperatly to offend me, like a 5yo bad-mannered little boy...

If one day you find any arguments (I mean real argument, not just copy and paste articles) or a counter-analysis, I will be glad to answer you... :D

All the teams you support are about to be eliminated. I'm afraid for you there will be less blood and more real Hockey now... Why dont you take some Doc Hollidays ?

Looks like they're developing them well in the minors to ensure that "Maple Leafs" tradition.

Here is last night's box score between the Red Wings and the Leafs farm teams.

http://theahl.com/stats/official-game-report.php?game_id=1011067

Toronto facing elimination leading 3-1 with 10 minutes to go in the third.

Call the final 4-3 for Grand Rapids.

If you find being compared to Michel Therrien as offensive, what can i say? You may be right, you may be wrong, etc. :D

But there's worse people to be compared to, right?

The subject of this thread is Hockey, not me. I dont care and nobody here cares if I can be compared to Michel Therrien, Abraham Lincoln or Ben Laden..

So back to the subject. Im sure you can find something interessant to say about Hockey..

I think people would like & respect you very much if they compared you to Abraham Lincoln. However, it would be the total opposite if they compared you to Bin Laden. But being compared to Michel Therrien? You seem to take it as an insult. Other scabs fans might have a different opinion about it.

Don't worry man7777 these Maple Laugh fans have been crying like babies ever since they came on this forum about hockey.
Can't blame them, The Leafs sucks ever since and keep on suckin each and every year !

Even this year they were sure they could laugh at Mtrl until their own precious Leafs performed the biggest epic collapse of the history of the NHL playoffs !
Never had so much fun watching them playoffs after Mtrl being out of them.

I even called my friend in TO to laugh at them (well I might say my ex-friend) :eyebrows:

Since then, we all know the reason why they suck every year... they're all on crack-pipe over there !
Apparently even their mayor is !

I'd like to compliment man77777 and Gentle on the great restraint they have shown in response to the unacceptable insults they have received from some leaflovers.

I guess when you're a fan of the biggest laughingstock in professional sports the only way you can get pleasure is by demeaning teams and fans with greater class and success. Rooting for a team that has done nothing but fail for 46 years and that had the biggest and most gutless game 7 collapse in the history of the playoffs will always leave you searching for some way, no matter how illogical or antisocial, to vent your half-century of frustration.

And bravo to SK for pointing out the delicious irony of iggy - of all people - complaining about someone's grammar.

Then again, iggy - of all people - takes delight in referring to the great Detroit Red Wings as "dead things". Let's compare:

Detroit: 22 consecutive years in the playoffs, Toronto: ONE year in almost a decade in the playoffs.

Detroit: 4 Cups in the past decade and a half. Toronto: ZERO Cups in the last 46 years. In fact ZERO trips to the finals in the last 46 years.

Detroit Roster (Current): 4 Lady Byng winners (all by Datsyuk), 3 Selke winners (all by Datsyuk), 1 Conn Smythe winner (Zetterberg). (We won't even count recent, but not current, Detroit achievements such as the astounding SEVEN Norris wins by the recently retired Nick Lidstrom). Toronto Roster (current): No winners of anything. In fact, can anyone remember the last time a leaf won the Hart, Ross, Norris, Lady Byng, Selke, etc.? Apart from Doug Gilmour's lone Selke victory TWO DECADES AGO and Dave Keon's Conn Smythe win 46 years ago, any other major individual awards for a leaf player were long before most of us were born.

Current playoffs: Detroit: up 2 games to one in the second round, against the BEST TEAM in the NHL this past season. Toronto: KNOCKED OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND after a humiliating loss against the B's in game 7.

Detroit: Best GM in the NHL and Best coach in the NHL, as voted on NHL.COM. Toronto: Most overrated player in the NHL ("captain" Dion Phaneuf) as voted by the NHL players themselves.

Yet iggy takes delight in calling the Wings "dead things". ZERO logic, but LOTS of irony!

And I wish Detroit moves on to the next round even if I like Chicago too.

Wings being the underdog here this year, it's so much fun to see them pushing harder.

Anyway, Detroit had one of the best hockey player ever, the only one to play in 5 different decades.
How's that for 'dead' ?

I mean, it's no surprise a guy like this played in Detroit where hockey never dies !
Here as some of his very impressive achievements :
6-Art Ross Memorial Trophy
6-Hart Memorial Trophy
Top 5 in NHL scoring for 20 consecutive seasons
Most games played for a single franchise
Most goals and points with a single franchise
Most NHL games played
Most consecutive NHL 20-goal seasons
First player to score over 1000 goals
Most times leading NHL playoffs in scoring
Oldest player to play in NHL: 52 years
Most NHL All-Star Game appearances : 23

Basically the guy started to play in the NHL one year after WWII and stopped a whopping 13 years after the Leafs won their last Stanley Cup !

And to top it all off, he led Detroit to first place in regular season play for seven consecutive years, a feat never equaled in NHL history

Now just knowing this, I can see why TO's fan can be overly jealous.

And Boston sweeping this one up ?

Now where did I read this a while ago ?
"Oh, how Boston wishes they'd have Phil Kessel back.... they're struggling... to score goals. Thank you, Mr. Burke. Thank you "

Oh yeah ! it's when they didn't think their team could be good enough to repeat their major choking collapse in March of last year in all but one simple period of a playoff game this year !

With the Jays in the gutter too, no wonder their mayor has been "apparently" smoking crack lately !
Who knows, maybe there's a vid of Burke joining him somewhere out there ?

Also don't forget that even Wikipedia has updated it's section on choking in the NHL.

Here it is : " The term choking has also been used in the NHL to define a collapse when one team appears to have the game in hand. In the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs the Toronto Maple Leafs were up 4 goals to 1 against the Boston Bruins with 11 minutes left to play in Game 7. They gave up 3 goals, including two with Boston's net empty to send the game into overtime. The Boston Bruins completed the comeback when Patrice Bergeron scored at 6:05 to win the series, eliminating the Toronto Maple Leafs from post season play."

Yup ! it's under 'Choke Sport'.

And BTW there's not one mention about Habs, something some losers out here kept arguing about what was the definition of choking 2 years ago when they won (against all odds) over Caps and Pens, then lost to Bruins.

Ya know ! it's the bandwagon kind who go about saying he's an expert !
Usually a fan from another team who suffered a major choking experience in NHL history !

Lets see, the Leafs did better last season than the scabs, made if further than them this season (better record last and game 7 this season, 2 more games than scabs, oh yea and also did not get demolished in every game they lost, unlike the scabitants, lol) and the Marlies went deep into the Calder Cup playoffs? Did the Hamilton Bulldogs even make the playoffs? ....... keep on keeping on scabs fans, you certainly are a delusional and very fragile bunch, just like that "little" team you cheer for :cheer2:

Wow, you Scabitant fans are taking the end of your season way to hard, dont worry, i am sure your season will end even worse next year, making this years not so bad :thumb:

the scabs

Oh yes Pleeeeaase insult* us again, hate us !

Now that we all know you hate when you're jealous, every fans are going to beg you to insult them again and again...

See you next year Leafs fans, I cant wait to see what you will find to make all the North America laugh again...

NHL wouldnt be same without its official Jester : the Leafs...

* Btw if you think 30sec about what this insult "scabs" means, you will understand it has nothing to do in a sport thread. I can politically understand why a guy like Doc Holliday use it (= a good way to spread his political propaganda by using sport), but coming from you Iggy...
