Feaster wont last long lol....

For ONCE you got one right. Congratulations! Thanks for proving that there's a first time for everything. Of course, there's also a LAST time for everything - and for the pathetic maple leafs the LAST time EVER was 1967.

Leafs are more than happy with that trade now that seguin the superstar is now shipped off to texas, that right there shows what the bruins think of TS,

Oui, MERCI bOston!

I do think sequin will be a good player and be a 50-60 point guy consistently one day but not a ppg player like Kessel and a game changer at any moment of the game, like Kessel.

Oui Oui Oui, MERCI BOSTON!

Life must be great in Dreamland, eh junior? Kessel's a game-changer all right: after he left Boston, he changed their game into the STANLEY CUP.

Try coming up with a hockey rebuttal, junior. You know, something to contradict : 1. 46 YEARS of failure, 2. 4 years of failure by BB, 3. the most epic collapse in the history of game seven, 4. 22 consecutive years in the playoffs for the Wings versus once in a freakin' decade for the hapless leafs, 5. Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg versus Colton Orr and Tyler Bozak, 6. Tuukka Rask for Andrew Raycroft (!!!!!!!!!!), 7. the maple leaf garden sex scandals, 8. John Kordic, Brian Spinner Spencer, Jiri "Kissing Bandit" Tlusty, 9. the Ontario Teachers, 10. Harold Ballard, 11. Brian Burke's record being worse than John Ferguson Junior's, 12. No Hart, Richard, Lindsay, or Art Ross winners in over half a century, 13. the highest priced tickets in the NHL to see the worst team in pro sports, 14. your prediction that the Hawks wouldn't win another game in the finals right before they won three in a row to take the Cup, 15. your prediction a couple of years ago that Philly would win the Cup in 6 - when Chicago went on to win in 6, 16. your prediction that the Wings wouldn't make the playoffs in 2013 when of course they did, 17. your prediction for the last 5 years that the leafs would do very well and of course they stank, 18. the leafs and their inept handling of Nazem Kadri, which continues even now, 19. the ridiculous contract given to Clarkson, 20. your championing of Connelly even though the whole world knew he was a walking injury waiting to happen, just like the equally fragile Joffrey Lupul, 21. your love for Komi (!!!!) and Captain Pylon,......

BTW, your disco-addled brain probably doesn't even realize it but you're the one who first introduced the freakin' village people (!) to a hockey thread, and you are the only one on MERB who is constantly fantasizing about your dream cowboys...but maybe it's a sign of your progress that you're finally admitting to your special attention to John Wayne (maybe that's where your whole cowboy fixation started?). As always, no judgments on your chosen lifestyle and your obvious pride, but hey - at least TRY to stick to hockey in this thread junior.

Always do when you post ONE lol! Which is few and far between these days, Cowboy! :)

As usual, you posted ZERO about HOCKEY despite the fact that I challenged you to respond to TWENTY-ONE HOCKEY issues. But maybe you had a John Wayne movie playing and didn't notice or maybe your disco music was too loud to allow you to - if you'll pardon the expression - think. Oh and one more thing (again!): Leave me OUT of your fantasies. Maybe you're lonely because the only true cowboy on the board is currently enjoying a vacation but DON'T keep fantasizing about me. Sorry, but I find it creepy (and again, no insult towards your personal preferences is intended - but they're not of interest to me).

i for one among MANY are happy with "The Thrill" in blue and white and Seguin in ugly green in Texas.

That figures : "Da Nile" is not just a river in Egypt!

Gullible brainwashed "fans" are the reason that the worst team in professional sports can get away with charging the highest prices in the NHL.

dEtroit DEAD THING fans, circa 2013-2020.... enjoy the ride cowboy!

As usual, you've posted more pointless bullshit with no reasons whatsoever for your typically stupid prediction.

As usual, you've completely ignored all rules of grammar. (Well, perhaps that's a false accusation: you can't ignore something if you have total ignorance about it.)

As usual, you've used your childish, unoriginal, plagiarized, completely inaccurate term "Dead Things" because you don't have a SINGLE intelligent point to back up your fatuous, empty-headed prediction.

As usual, you can't stop thinking about cowboys.

As usual, you've exposed your total ignorance about hockey.

Now here's a prediction for you: The leafs will continue to avoid the finals. Why?

Because their captain is the most overrated player in the league, as voted by his FELLOW NHL players on numerous occasions.

Because their D sucks in general, with their captain being a pylon who gives the puck away on too many occasions, who can't skate backwards to save his life, and who has an inaccurate shot that is just as likely to injure one of his teammates as it is to head toward the enemy net.

Because your best scorer is a one-way player who lacks grit and who too often becomes invisible at key times.

Because your second and third best scorers are either injury-prone walking medical cases (Lupul) or not even yet signed (Kadri)...and that's not even taking into account that Kadri really has only a half season of "success" under his belt since the leafs (mainly your departed savior) kept him dangling for YEARS.

Because the Toronto brain trust (ha ha) got rid of Grabo (after TOTALLY misusing him last year) and kept the grossly overpaid Tyler Bozak, who would only be a fourth-liner on any decent team.

Because your coach doesn't know what to do even with the tiny amount of talent on his roster (as proven, for example, by his TOTAL misuse of Grabo).

Because your team is a gutless bunch with no character, as they showed in their history-making epic collapse against the Bruins.

Because your team has a history of 46 YEARS of complete and utter failure.

Because ownership doesn't need to have a decent team since there are plenty of suckers buying their overpriced tickets to see the shittiest team in the NHL.

Because you have two goalies who are FAR from elite and the poor stiffs have a crappy D in front of them, along with a bunch of soft one-way forwards.

Because one of your players is Colton Orr, probably the least talented player in the entire league.

Because your GM spent too much time with Brian Burke.

Now go ahead and ignore all the HOCKEY stuff like you always do and come back with some of your boring crap about cowboys, disco and "dead things" - because that's ALL you're ever capable of doing. Pathetic!

soooooooooooooo much effort into something only one homer would dare try to read,

ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!! you make my night "bub":lol::D:D

(nice to know i waste your time tho Bwhhaahahahaahahahaa) Merci Cowboy J!

As predicted: ZERO intelligence in your response, ZERO about hockey, ZERO knowledge of grammar, but of course you managed to include your cowboy fixation.

Just give it up junior: you are NO match for anyone (sort of like the crappy leafs are NO match for any team in the NHL).

Geesh, the cowboy is looking in his mirror again, Bwhahahahahahaahhahaah!!!!!!!!! only you CC, MERCI for making my night, ONCE again! :thumb:

As of now you have 7,175 posts. As of now not one of them contains anything of any intelligence.

I have no idea how many posts you have in the hockey threads but I do know that the vast majority of them have NOTHING to do with hockey.

You also must have a pretty miserable life if your biggest thrill is fantasizing about cowboys and if having your stupidity exposed publicly time and time again is what "makes your night". You poor, poor soul - and to top it off, you root for a team that hasn't made the finals in 46 YEARS and has only made the playoffs once in a decade.

You don't reply to the HOCKEY content because you CAN'T reply to it. First, you have no arguments because the FACTS are all on my side. The FACTS prove that the Wings have been the dominant team in the NHL for over two decades, and the FACTS prove that the leafs have rotted for 46 YEARS. You also can't reply because you lack the intellect to do so. Consequently, like the stupidest kid in kindergarten, you repeat the same hackneyed, unoriginal, inaccurate, juvenile bullshit time and time again...along with your constant and very troubling personal fantasies about mirrors, cowboys, and disco music. Why not get a life?

That Kipper is one clever EX-goalie! Get out while the getting's good (in spite of the line for PUBLIC consumption that this was decided long ago).

The Architect of Disaster has started to weave his magic.

Well, we're not far from the 2013-2014 season...or as the leafs call it: "those annoying games that we have to play before we can go back to the golf course in six months".

As the leafs say: 'Thank Heaven we only make the playoffs once every decade. FORE!"

In Praise of Phil Kessel

Sure, he had a reputation as a bad teammate...but after a few years with captain pylon, Phil has undoubtedly learned what a REAL clown is and will probably clean up his act if he hasn't already.

Sure, Boston was thrilled to dump him and then the B's went on to two finals appearances, including one Cup...so maybe Phil has suffered enough for his earlier transgressions.

Sure, Phil is often Invisible (especially against the Bruins), but at least he's not VISIBLE in the way that captain pylon is with SO many puck giveaways.

Sure, Phil is still pretty much a one-way player...but at least that one way is for his OWN team, unlike captain pylon.

Sure, Phil often comes across awkwardly in interviews...but at least he has a vocabulary, unlike a certain pylon we all know.

Sure, Phil has yet to achieve any meaningful success in the NHL...but he's been trapped on the freakin' LEAFS so cut the poor guy some slack. If he had any half-decent teammates, coaches, or GMs he might turn into a decent player.

Good luck Phil! Only one more year in that hellhole of hockey and then free agency looms. Best wishes for a great career after the 2013-2014 season!
