Great (non) "Real" HOCKEY post! (per usual from this POSER) HAHAHA!.....................:D......:thumb:

1. I am ALWAYS relevant and ALMOST always correct, which is why I point it out to lesser hockey minds such as yours.

2. I told you: When you speak to me, the correct form of address is either MISTER Cairo or Sir. As usual, you have failed to learn your lessons, junior.

3. On a positive note, congratulations to Phil "the Stick" Kessel, who - after disappearing, as usual, against the Bruins, is still a point ahead of Datsyuk and ONLY (ha ha) a point BEHIND Zetterberg in scoring. We'll forget about the fact that Pav and Henk are COMPLETE players, unlike the one-dimensional Invisible Man - even if Pav and Henk had NO points they'd still be more valuable than "the Stick" because of everything else they can do and he can't.

Any thoughts on the stupid trades the Oilers made on Saturday?

Horak is the guy the Rangers traded to get Tim Erixon ( highly regarded at the time )

The goalie you got is 75-21 in his last 2 seasons

Smid was part of the Pronger deal ( in which you got him, Eberle, Lupul, and Travis Hamonic )

Be patient grasshopper...

If you want to change teams, the Rangers need more suckers like me..plus you have Sather here to let you remember the good 'ol days

Best Regards

My post HAD hockey content, junior. Your characteristically feeble and limp attempt at a response didn't. Case closed and you lose AGAIN. What's that make it? About three thousand times in a row that you were beaten like a rented mule?

Here's your hockey lesson for the day: As we all know, one of the many reasons that the leafs have SUCKED for so long (46 YEARS to be exact) is that they have made a mess of the draft, either by virtually giving away their picks or by squandering them on the crappiest players available (i.e.: typical leaf players!). The BEST draft pick Toronto made in the last decade and a half was Tuuka Rask at # 21 in 2005. Great pick by the leafs...too bad they traded Rask to the Bruins in 2006....for Andrew Freakin' Raycroft!!!!!!How did THAT one work out? Ha ha ha ha ha.

What's goin on ? November and the Leafs are already out of the top 10 ?

Well at least Laurel & Hardy has been replaced by the 3 stooges out here.
One more to laugh at once we hit the playoffs.

Can't wait to see what sh*t TO will pull again this year !
Maybe they should hire Rob Ford to fill the net !

...no pucks would get past him!

Not only that... even with no goals in, I'm sure they would find a way to make it to the gutter.
He would be perfect with them... being used to f*ck up and all that.

Plus he's already had a lot of practice on ice.
I hear he love to put some ice cube in his daily morning drink.

So he'd be perfect to play against PENS at the igloo...
So far he's as bad for TO's reputation as the Leafs so I think he would be a good addition to their roaster !

Both the Dead Things and Les Scabitants get loser points tonight.

Even with the great "Stammer" not in Montreal, the habs still find a way to lose, this with CPrice playing his best game of the year. (in regulation and OT) Like usual Price sucked in the shootout tho. The Canadians WILL NOT make the playoffs this season unless some major changes come soon by that AHL gm named Bergervin.

In other news, i bet the Kings wish they still have Jonathan Bernier right about now, what with Quick going down tonight. Can Ben Scrivens handle being #1 for awhile? Good luck Ben, with that defense you should be fine for a few games or weeks.

Not a surprise. Don't forget that the GM of the Bolts is the great Steve Yzerman.

Well if they don't make the playoffs, maybe they can get advice from the stinkin' leafs on what to do with all the extra time they have when the good teams are still playing. The leafs are EXPERTS on that subject, having FAILED to make the playoffs every year except once in the past decade. Leaf slogan: "We're LOSERS but at least we're always the first hockey team on the golf course."

PS: Say what you will about any GM in the league, but ONLY Brian Burke was SO unsuccessful that even the stinkin' LEAFS fired him!

"Dead Things". "Scabitants". I guess we can all see why you don't teach creative writing. Maybe you can get a job as a Professor of Unoriginal, Unfunny Plagiarism - you seem to be REALLY good at that.

Meanwhile, if you have to lose, at least those "loser points" add up. Thus, the Wings are ahead of the leafs. Needless to say, Henk and Pav also both have more points than the Invisible Man.

Congratulations to Ondrej Pavelec, who put on a brilliant display of goaltending to win the game for the Jets even though Detroit totally dominated. In fact, thumbs up to BOTH Pavs - Datsyuk, as so often happens, was the game's first star with two goals, while Pavelec singlehandedly won the game for the PEG.

Always hated "Beck", until tonight ;)

I would have to agree with you Reverdy that if any of the guys you mention goes down to injury for any length of time it could be "doomsday" so to speak, for deadtroit.

After 60yr old "Alfie" started off like a ball of fire, it seems his legs are getting tired after only 19 games into the season and has 1 point in his last 4 games. Ummm "alfie" you still have just 63 more to go, lol.

Ya know how when "alfie" comes to the ACC he gets booed by 19,000 strong every time he touches the puck right? Now imagine what it will sound like Jan 1 when 75,000 are booing him! (maybe more!) :thumb:

Yes, Pavelec did great; with 41 saves. Howard: not so much with only 19 saves.

This begs the question: is there more to the Wings than Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Alfredsson, and Franzen?

Bertuzzi has been pretty good this year and DeKeyser is a keeper - there's one old guy and one young guy! Kronwall is a very good d-man, although obviously not TOP echelon. Darren Helm is a multi-purpose player that any team would be glad to have. Justin Abdelkader is another very useful player. Howard is a solid goalie (but not a great one) and the Monster has a lot of promise, as it looks like the Wings are succeeding in undoing a lot of the harm that the leafs did when they turned the Monster into the Monstrosity. (But I do admit that Brendan Smith has got to go and Weiss has to wake up.)

First, check the scoring race: "60yr old Alfie" is doing better than the majority of leafs...which doesn't say much for that bunch of stiffs if a "60yr old" is outperforming them!

Second, Alfie has a good shot at the HoF when he retires...which is more than you can say for any of the losers on the leafs, INCLUDING your one-dimensional Invisible Man who likes to use his stick as a weapon.

Third, if Alfie is booed in Hogtown it's a sign of respect, as it is for all good players in enemy rinks.

Fourth, Mark Messier knows a little about hockey, which is why he chose Alfie as the most recent winner of his handpicked Leadership Award. I don't see "the Stick" or Captain Pylon winning Messier's award...or ANY award for that matter (except for Most Overrated Player in the Entire NHL as chosen by the players themselves - Dion has a LOCK on that one, having won it a couple of times!).

No points for Phil Kessel again tonight.

Really though, the guy was robbed: for sure he deserved an assist on the Parise goal!

On the road! Bwhahahahaahah......... DeadTroit does it at HOME! oops! :)

Btw, Bernier stellar once again, he deserves to be on Team Canada over that overrated carey price. Do the right thing Steve-Why?

Congratulations to the leafs: they lost to Minny but at least they got a point.

Sorry, my mistake: I thought road games and home games all counted equally in the standings, but you apparently think ONLY home games count.

Wait, let me check.

Oh, I take it back: I was right: all games DO count in the standings. Too bad for the leafs.
