Where I belong.
I had heard that he was upgraded due to his proficiency in kissing ass. However, as you have now confirmed that the rumor was incorrect, I will be careful to use the proper designation in future.
Unfortunately, for our resident lardmeister, all kissing ass get you a 10% discount on admission at the little round guy's favorite sleazy stripjoint.

Don't forget the extension for Kessel's roommate, Tyler "Rent-Free" Bozak.

Kessel is what? 26 or 27 ? maybe he should kick his freeloading room mate out and find a woman to move in - there must be some decent women in Toronto ?

He let in one more goal than Carey "Red Light" Price did last night but has been nowhere as bad lately as ole "Red Light". Team Canada better hope Luongo plays well in Sochi because if "Red Light" has that much pressure on him, kiss Gold or maybe even any medal, goodbye.

Ugly game for the Leafs last night, but a loss is a loss no matter what the score, just like the Scabs tonight losing to the Sens. Bernier was hung out to dry on a couple goals and every goalie has a bad game now and then, even "Red Light" who has been lit up like a Christmas tree lately.

ohlookpricegoal.jpg

So how did "Big game" Bernier do tonight ? !

The save percentages for Bernier and Price are almost identical. Bernier .928, Price .927.

In every other measurement Price's numbers are better:

Goals against average: Price 2.26, Bernier 2.53

Shutouts: Price 2, Bernier 1

Win/Loss/OT Loss: Price 19-11-4, Bernier 13-12-4. What that means, ig, is that Price has won 6 MORE games and lost 1 LESS game than "Tie Game".

Price has started more games, played more games, finished more games, and played over 300 minutes more than T.G.B.

You lose...again.

Ugly game for the Leafs last night.

You got THAT right - congratulations!

But maybe this will cheer you up, junior. After all, losing 7-1 against the Rangers was awful, but wasn't it even MORE awful when you were humiliated 6-0 by the last-place Sabres?

After landing goalie Jonathan Bernier today (whom rumored as many as 20 NHL teams were interested in trading for the last year) for what is essentially a back up nhl'er or stud ahl'er in Ben Scrivens, a nice 3rd liner on most nhl teams in Matt Frattin and a 2nd rounder in either 2014 or 2015 (Torontos choice btw) which 28% of the time a 2nd rounder even makes the NHL, the Leafs now have 2 top young goalies.

To get Bernier, the leafs gave up Scrivens AND Frattin AND a 2nd round pick. The leafs ALWAYS sweeten the pot by giving their trading partner extras! (Other examples: the Kessel deal, the recent Liles deal.)

Now even if we forget about the extras (!), let's compare Scrivens and Bernier at this point in the current season:

Scrivens: .931 save percentage, Bernier .928
Scrivens: 1.97 goals against average, Bernier 2.53
Scrivens: 7-5-4, Bernier 13-12-4
Scrivens: 3 shutouts, Bernier 1

SCRIVENS is doing better than Bernier in EVERY major stat.

Having said that, it's true that the leafs are indeed a truly wretched team and their two goalies have saved them on most occasions when the leafs have managed to squeak out a win despite being badly outplayed and badly outshot.

Joffrey is a good guy and very "intense" (unlike Bob Ryan) just ask dead things, pat eaves. ;)

I don't think Eaves would call him "intense" - I think he'd call him a cheapshot artist who was lucky to escape suspension.

Your remark about Ryan proves that you have as much class as Burke - in other words, ZERO.

Class dismissed. Now you can go back to eating your potato chips.

there's ONE! (oops, nope 3 already lol, man you are quick when you are upset, haha) go ahead, i will let you melt and post the count later once you are all done with your latest in a loooooooooong line of embarrassing public meltdowns on a escort review board. (key word, "review" how about you make your first ever, little guy) hmmmmm? ok continue..... ;)

When is the fragile pavel datysuk coming back? Did the "intense" Joffrey Lupul get the dead things 2 for 1 special when the Leafs beat them in the Winter Classic? Camera's must have missed it or maybe it was just pavie tripping over the blue line, face first. That's prob all it was. Joffery is intense but not dirty like Bertuzzi the thug.

1. This will be my 3533rd post in 8 and a half years. You currently have 7679 posts in just over 5 years. You have more than twice the number of posts that I do and you have been posting for 3 and a half years less. Now, I realize, Corporal Corpulent, that you know as little about math as you do about spelling, grammar, logic, and hockey - but even YOU should be able to understand that your comment about number of posts is not only wildly inaccurate but also typically idiotic.

2. You still have not learned the meaning of the term "meltdown" - no surprise.

3. You're still fascinated by the sex lives of men. Maybe you should ask Phil and Tyler if you can move in with them and be a third roommate.

1. If you are as big (and I don't mean in girth) a leaf fan as you claim to be, maybe you should learn to spell Lupul's first name.

2. If the best you can come up with is this Bertuzzi comment, it means that - as usual - you've got NOTHING. Here's your latest piece of hockey education, Corporal Corpulent: Bertuzzi's only action as a "thug" was the attack on Steve Moore - YEARS ago - when Bertuzzi played for the CANUCKS. As a WING, he has been rehabilitated. (Sorry for the long word. You can ask Reverdy to explain it to you.) BTW, Bertuzzi's thuggish action was when he was (foolishly) trying to avenge his CANUCK teammate Markus Naslund - if a LEAF did the same thing you'd be praising him as a hero.

Reverdy,

You know that, I know that, hell we all know that  and even tho all he ever does is repeat the same posts over and over, it would be quite boring around here w/o him. Cut the little guy some slack. He does not know any better and we love him for that. :thumb:
JC,

You're comparing apples and oranges

JC,

You're comparing apples and oranges: notwithstanding the fact that he's playing for a powerhouse in comparison to the Leafs and Wings, Scrivens has played 975 minutes so far, while Bernier has played 1,687 min.

Jimmy Howard is a more appropriate comparison: 7-9-8, save percentage: .911, goals against average: 2.65, minutes played: 1,427

The best thing that can happen to the Leafs is for the Wings to keep putting Howard between the posts, the way he's been playing. And I am not the only one thinking like that:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ey-to-detroit-red-wings-2013-14-playoff-hopes

As far as Howard, you're right (although he DID play very well in Saturday night's 5-1 win against the Stars, while the leafs were being thrashed 7-1 by the Rangers). Don't read your post or mine to little iggy: he LOVES Jimmy Howard and he'll be heartbroken.

As far as the apples and oranges, you can only work with what you've got. Price and Tie Game also have disparities in games played and Price also plays for a better team than Bernier. Scrivens has a better save percentage than Bernier and MORE shutouts in FEWER games. And, again, the Kings ALSO got Frattin AND a 2nd round pick! Nonis was fleeced as usual!

Do you really enjoy looking foolish or are you just unaware of how foolish you look?

Here are the FACTS about the relative fragility of Datsyuk and Lupul:

Lupul came to the NHL a few years after Datsyuk. We'll compare their games played from the time Joffrey (please note CORRECT spelling, little guy) came to the league.

Games Played:

03-04 Datsyuk 75, Lupul 75
04-05 No season
05-06 Datsyuk 75, Lupul 81
06-07 Datsyuk 79, Lupul 81
07-08 Datsyuk 82, Lupul 56
08-09 Datsyuk 81, Lupul 79
09-10 Datsyuk 80, Lupul 23
10-11 Datsyuk 56, Lupul 54
11-12 Datsyuk 70, Lupul 66
12-13 Datsyuk 47, Lupul 16
13-14 (so far) Datsyuk 35, Lupul 34

I know that you have no idea about math, so I'll be a nice guy and summarize the results for you. Since Lupul has been in the league, Datsyuk has played more games in 7 seasons, Lupul has played more games in 2, they played the same number once, and the season was cancelled once. Datsyuk has played more games EVERY SINGLE SEASON for the past SEVEN YEARS. The last time Lupul played more was in the 05-06 season. Datsyuk has played one more game so far this season. Datsyuk has played 115 GAMES MORE than Lupul since Lupul has been in the league!

Those are the FACTS, junior, and the FACTS indicate that Lupul is FAR more fragile than Datsyuk. (I do realize that FACTS are meaningless to you.)

I don't think there would be a point in having a Free for All thread without JC. He's almost the Architect of the thread.

Actually, I am the Conscience of the thread, as I provide facts and corrections to all the BS posted by little iggy.

To give him his just due, I guess you would have to say that little iggy is the Architect, since he started the thread. It was probably good for him that he did so, as he receives a free hockey education on a regular basis. (Unfortunately, however, he seems constitutionally unable to absorb any of the vast knowledge that other posters give him.)

"Meaningless?" You are REMARKABLY obtuse. (Ask Reverdy what it means). The post you quoted was an accurate, FACTUAL response to your false statement about the relative fragility of Datsyuk and Lupul (or, as you call him in your typically illiterate style "Joffery" - sic). It is YOUR post, quoted here, which - as always - contains ZERO facts and ZERO hockey content. Just when we all thought it was impossible for you to look even more foolish, you have amazed the world by falling even lower on the credibility scale.

No little guy, i never said in my post tonight that lupul was less fragile than datysuk, i said teasingly (which even you could understand what was meant) when is the fragile datysuk coming back? You (being the desperate guy you are) took it upon yourself to post a meaningless post about something i never said, thus my post... As usual we are lol at all the time you spend looking stuff up, THUS yet again. we cant make this stuff up, i know you miss the humor but thats the best part of it all , even reverdys last post went sailing over your head. You need some rest now little one, trust me, you do. ;)
