The only real problem with that play is that the punter got kicked in the head. However he got kicked in the head due to poor tackling technique. If it was up to me it's a no call and I tell the Browns coach to teach better tackling technique.

Years ago I recall the Skins scored a TD on Dallas when the KR beat the Dallas kicker who was the last guy with a shot at tackling him. The Dallas kicker took a bad angle towards the sidelines then dove at the Skins KR just as he cut inside, and he tackled nothing but air. You never take an angle that allows the KR to cut inside on an open field. You want to force him towards the sideline and hope to shove him out of bounds. A few years ago against the G-Men Flacco was intercepted and he thwarted the pick 6 by forcing the interceptor towards the sidelines and then he shoved him out of bounds. This was an ideal play for a QB to make and I think Flacco was properly coached on tackling to stop a pick 6 interception.

Boom! Great pick .T! The Cheatriots look old, especially at QB
Sureshot pick of the week is Miami +5 over that overrated, last place team in New England, I can't believe that they are giving the Dolphins +5 considering that the Dolphins dominated New England and won outright the last time they played, look for Brady to get sacked an awful lot, the Patriots will regret their decision to let All Pro Mankins go.

Good Luck fellas.:thumb:

I had a GREAT DAY TODAY. My cell phone got ripped off (costing me $400 for a replacement), but my Dolphins took all those Boston Boys (the Patriots) out to the woodshed in the second half of their 33-20 win. Frankly it didn't surprise me that much. The Dolphins have purposely not been showing much in the preseason, mostly running the 2nd team and up-and-comers. Once Mike Pouncey, Reshad Jones and some of the other regulars get back in expect them to become one of the premier teams in the league.

Joe T., this is the year of the Dolphins!!!! I've waited soooo long for this team to show me something.

Most teams don't show much preseason. I was surprised by the performance of the Fish especially the pressure they got on Brady. It is only week 1 though and a long way to go.

Me thinks it is gonna be a long season in Big D, but as long as those dirty cheaters from "new" england (I have been there and that place is anything but NEW) play like they did today, it will be a good season :D

If you look at Tannehill's play time it was like 10% of the time. They knew what they had and choose not to show it. One additional item. The Dolphs brought in Griese to coach Tannehill. Griese was the original football master surgeon. Not that much of an arm, but could surgically cut apart a defense like no one else. I haven't been this excited about the Dolphs in over 20 years. Haven't had a reason to.....LOL

Dallas and Washington will be bringing up the rear in the NFC East. These are teams that have made very bad contract and personnel decisions and they have to pay the price for that.

I think it could be a 3 way tie for last, the Giants are not all that impressive either.

Andrew Luck

I am not seeing that this guy is anything more than a slightly above average QB. He is not as good as Peyton Manning. He is in his 3rd year and he has not set the world on fire. Are you guys seeing something else that I am missing? Is he anything more than a serviceable starter? Will he ever be an All Pro?

YAWOZA!!! great game today in Miami, this is the worst that I have ever seen the Pats perform, this team is horrible and in big, big trouble, do you think that Belishit is now regretting trading All Pro Mankins:nod:, Brady was harassed and hurried all game, the Pats are now officially in last place(right beside the Red Sox), I repeat, the Patriots will not make the playoffs, read it and weep Patriot fans.

BTW, don't forget to vote:D

Joe, don't count the Pats out, just down. Can they make the playoffs, way to early to tell. Hell it's not even certain that Miami will make the playoffs, although if today's showing is any indication it's going to be a Dolphins vs. Seattle last game of the season...LOL Can you tell I'm getting some long overdue joy out of this?....LOL

Ryan Tannehill has the tools and the talent to be a great QB and has tremendous upside, the only thing is that he seems to struggle at times, the Dolphins will go as far as he takes them, one thing is for certain and that is that the Dolphins will finish ahead of the pathetic Patriots who are lead by an aging, declining QB with a god awful offensive line, Brady will not last the season(my prediction).

My team, the Buffalo Bills, also played a heck of a game in surprising the Bears in Chicago for the first time in franchise history!!

Heck, i had picked the Bears in my pools, but i'm extremely happy that the Bills managed to pull out a win!!

Go Bills!! :D

Now that Rice's contract is terminated and he is banned by the NFL, he is possibly free to sign with a CFL team. Does the CFL have any policies on domestic violence?

It's possible Ray Rice will be viewed as a pariah due to this video. What is odd is that he has not yet been convicted of anything in the criminal justice system. It used to be that we considered a defendant innocent until proven guilty. This video, however, which shows Rice punching this woman, may be a game changer. I believe the criminal case is now almost moot. It's a serious issue, because women are fans too, and they are not going to like this video very much. Rice may be viewed as unsignable, due to the video.

He cost himself a lot of money.
