Actually, I really couldn't care less. Let the system take it's course. The fact is, as it has been said, we root for laundry. Hell, I even rooted for a crazy wingnut named Schilling when he pitched for the Red Sox.

And, by the way, the system doesn't always work, witness OJ's acquittal in the murder of his wife. From what I'm reading, Hernandez' lawyer killed the prosecution in opening statements. At this point, guilty or not, Hernandez does have the better attorneys.

That's amazing, rumps - you're equating Kurt Schilling, an honest guy, to Aaron Hernandez, a thug who has been indicted for 3 murders. Very typical of New England / Boston fans, I guess.

Well, we shall see. I hear the evidence against Hernandez is strong, including surveillance video of Hernandez's home. Opening arguments don't mean anything. Most juries use evidence to convict or acquit. O.J.'s jury certainly did not. We shall see how this murder trial progresses, and the next one also.

Honest? Ask the people of Rhode Island who he bilked out of $75 million. LOL. You probably consider the Koch brothers honest.

Opening arguments set a tone and get inside juror's heads. That's why good lawyers get criminals acquitted. Personally, I'd rather see a guilty man walk than see an innocent man convicted. I have no particular thoughts about Hernandez. He does seem almost as creepy as war criminal Dick Cheney.

I put Seatle by 4 ! It's the six Super Bowl for Brady , is up to him to loose it . Seatle offense is so simple but effective, it's going to be run run pass run ! The pat's receiver will be hit so many times that they would wich that Tom doesn't throw to them . Also Seatle D will be effective still late in the fourth, Brady and is bunch will not be able to do their magic last quarter push !
It's going to be the hurt locker for the patty's.
Go SeaHawk !!

OMG, Deflategate is deflated
Only one Deflategate football was two pounds underinflated, report says
Only one of the 11 underinflated footballs the Patriots used in the AFC Championship was 2 pounds below the minimum, according to a report Sunday from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

The others were just “a few ticks” below, the report says. Earlier reports did not specify the range of pressure in footballs discovered to be underinflated.

BOYZ!!!

Report: Only one of Patriots' 12 balls were under-inflated by two pounds

Only one of the 12 New England Patriots footballs used in the team's AFC Championship game win against the Indianapolis Colts was under-inflated by a full two pounds, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

"Several" other balls were found to be roughly one pound under-inflated, and "several more" were either right at, or barely beneath, the correct inflation mark.

The one football under-inflated by two pounds is in the NFL's possession for purposes of its ongoing investigation as to whether the Patriots purposefully deflated their footballs in order to gain an advantage over the Colts.

• ROSENBERG: Deflategate's legacy destined to live on in NFL's theater of the absurd

Footage exists of an "elderly" employee carrying both the Patriots and Colts' footballs into a Gillette Stadium bathroom before the AFC Championship game for approximately 90 seconds.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Friday in his press conference that the league has not made any judgments yet as to the Patriots' guilt or innocence in the matter.

On Thursday, NFLPA President DeMaurice Smith said the league had decided to interview Patriots team members after the Super Bowl.

The more news that comes out about this...the more this story stinks...

This will only matter to rational people, not the haters. The latter only live in this case to find satisfaction in revenge for their hate.

GOPATRIOTSGO.

1. Already the refs missed an automatic roughing the kicker on a Seattle player who hit the non-kicking leg of the Patriots punter.

2. Damn terrible un-Brady pass intercepted.

*Love the Fiat commercial. :D

3. Two plays keeping this one from getting out of hand early. Brady intercepted, perfect Wilson pass. Patriots otherwise playing much better than Seattle so far. Lane injury looking critical. Crazy off-side foul. Game of mismatches for TDs.

4. Mathews has been the Achilles heel of New England so far. Mismatch city.

5. Patriots losing their defensive elan.

6. I hate when the Patriots try to run from deep in the backfield.

7. Hurried miss to Edelman, right back to TD to Amendola.

8. Refs miss a trip against New England.

*Pigs fly commercial. :thumb:

9. Edelman is really the uncontested workhorse of the Patriots.

10. Edelman...holy crap.

WOW!!!

What a bunch of sorry ass no class losers the Seahawks are. That was the most cowardly act to end a Super Bowl in it's history.

:amen:

No class? New England fans wear that Title.

Absolutely. The game was Seattle's game to lose and they loss it. New England didn't win it. That's for sure.

It was the worse play call in the history of the Super Bowl.

With Marshawn Lynch as running back and the ball at the one yard line, it was a no brainer.

Both teams played a truly competitive game, but Pete Carroll lost the game with his call to pass the ball along the goal line. He had one of the best running backs in short yardage situations to win it for them.

It's sad, because it rewards a bunch of Cheaters.

BOYZZZ!

Wow!....Pete Carroll must feel like the biggest moron of all times right now!

Pete Carroll made the absolute worse call in Super Bowl history with that disastrous game choking play. He goes down as one of the games great GOATS for that one. I was honestly thinking when the Seahawks got that first big play after the Patriots scored, here we go again, losing with too much time on the clock for the third time in a row after going ahead very late. It was so painful to see it would have been because of another super freak kind of catch. I can't explain what happened except God said, NO FREAKING WAY. But when you look at it, Seattle was there on a miraculous Green Bay gift. Maybe it was little bit of Karma like Dallas getting beat after Detroit was robbed.

AND best yet, my very best pal Joe.t has no freaking excuses since everyone was watching the footballs and everything on this one. A big fat FUCKIN wet kiss to you Joe. How's that for BEAST MODE. :eyebrows: YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TOM BRADY VINDICATES HIS LEGACY AND THE PATRIOTS.

Congrats to Merlot and the other Patriots fans.

I've been a Patriots fan since they drafted Jim Plunkett out of Stanford in 1971. I stayed with them through 30 years of being mostly at or near the bottom, and now we have 4 SUPER BOWL VICTORIES. This was so hard fought and so near to a bad end. IT WAS PAINFUL...but it COULDN'T BE BETTER NOW!!

:D
