Actually, I really couldn't care less. Let the system take it's course. The fact is, as it has been said, we root for laundry. Hell, I even rooted for a crazy wingnut named Schilling when he pitched for the Red Sox.
And, by the way, the system doesn't always work, witness OJ's acquittal in the murder of his wife. From what I'm reading, Hernandez' lawyer killed the prosecution in opening statements. At this point, guilty or not, Hernandez does have the better attorneys.
That's amazing, rumps - you're equating Kurt Schilling, an honest guy, to Aaron Hernandez, a thug who has been indicted for 3 murders. Very typical of New England / Boston fans, I guess.
Well, we shall see. I hear the evidence against Hernandez is strong, including surveillance video of Hernandez's home. Opening arguments don't mean anything. Most juries use evidence to convict or acquit. O.J.'s jury certainly did not. We shall see how this murder trial progresses, and the next one also.
