Blue Jays In Last Place

Don't look now but the Blue Jays have slipped beneath the Yankees and are in last place by a half game. The good news is the stats on the BJs do not really look so bad: they are 4th in the AL in pitching and 7th in run production which, while disappointing, is still middle of the pack.

The Yankees and Blue Jays will meet in New York City in a series staring Tuesday, May 24. I have a ticket to Thursday's late afternoon game, CC Sabathia vs. Aaron Sanchez, as these teams stage a battle for last place in the AL East.

I have come to believe that Boston, Baltimore, New York and Toronto will all be in the hunt for the AL East title and the only team that will fade is the Tampa Bay Rays.

The problem with the Jays is situational hitting. They leave tons of runners on the bases! The bullpen other than Osuna has been a major disappointment so far. Starting pitching has held up well.

I'll be in Toronto for the Red Sox series next weekend. Hopefully they'll sweep them in order to bring the Red Sox back to earth. By the way, John Farrell has been separated with his wife for the past two years and is in the process of divorcing her. Rumours are swirling that he's having an affair with a local media personality, who recently resigned from her job. Conflict of interest.

A few years back Will Middlebrooks, a failed Red Sox prospect who is now with the Padres, began fucking the Red Sox smoking hot field reporter Jenny Dell, who also was forced to leave her job with NESN and now works for CBS. She ultimately married Middlebrooks. You are not supposed to shit where you eat or eat where you shit, but sometimes these workplace romances do happen.

Bad night last night in Queens...

It was the reunion night for the 1986 World Series winning team
https://www.sny.tv/video/749844483/1986-mets-reunion-at-citi-field

Noah fucked up last night trying to hit Utley, and then Utley hit 2 home runs after Noah was ejected

There will be another time :boxing:

Cespedes /Fulmer trade update - Former Mets prospect and Tiger Rookie RHP Michael Fulmer continues to impress. Fulmer was called up after Shane Greene's injury earlier this season. After 6 starts Fulmer is 4-1 with a 1.38 WHIP and 3.97 ERA. He seems to be getting stronger and stonger. His last start Fulmer pitched a one hitter for 7 innings. He made it 7 2/3 before giving way to the bullpen. He hit 99 MPH facing his last batter in the the 8th inning. The outing before that Fulmer struck out 10.

The Mets lost a second game in a row that the starting pitching was great

Matz yesterday, and De Grom today

Both games the bullpen and hitters didn't come thru

We are LAST in all of MLB with runners in scoring position

Not acceptable

I heard there was talk about Bobby Bonilla being asked to come in and help out since we are still paying the piece of shit to sit home :puke:
