Why do sp's sometimes ask us if we have a gf or wife? Just curious what the motive is for the question....

I ask for a short physical description, I want to recognize at first glance the person I am meeting especially if we have to meet in a hotel lobby. I appreciate having an idea, physically, of the person I am going to meet. They almost always tell me if they are Asian, from the Middle East, Indian, white, black, etc. it doesn't make a difference to me. It's simply more information.
But you ask for a physical description so that makes sense.

Do they tell you when asian, black or indian? Why is it different if they tell you they are white?
To sum it up, it’s the fact that they’re so focused on telling me that they’re white that they don’t mention the other info I’ve asked that bothers me.

No other people don’t mention it as much so sometimes it’s funny because the name sounded like they could be another race and they show up and they’re white or vice versa
