Because I know a lot of women in abusive relationships. And if the guy knew he could use that as a way to belittle her and use her even more I have no doubt in the world he would.
I even know some who are broken up and are still being controlled by their ex by financial abuse just to maintain power over her so she can't escape.
Admittedly I have seen the dark side of many people. And I wouldn't want to think how bad it could get if they were allowed to be their darker side of themselves without society holding them accountable for their actions. Most keep themselves in check only because of what the next person would think of them.
I tend to have a pretty low oppinion of humanity as a whole, and people will often do whatever they can get away with, if they can do it without reprocutions.

That's precisely why it needs to be regulated. Illegality favour's pimps. An SP safety needs to be taken into account. That should be the top priority as well as the clients.

The only way for an escort to verify for certain that you don't have an STI would be a long, tedious and expensive process that would go as follows :

> Hire an escort for 3 months
> Go get tested together on day 1
> Take 3 months off from work to spend 100% of your time with her 24/7
> Get tested together again after 3 months and wait until those results to start living your life again

That's the only way to be sure, and obviously isn't realistic haha
Nevada brothel workers get tested with much more frequency than that. They have been rather successful keeping std's out.

I agree with this. Someone letting me know they take their health seriously is delightful, I don't need extra details and certainly don't want to see someone's test results unprompted.

As, indeed, this could come off as a way to inquire about unsafe services at worst, or at best, it makes you seem clueless - nobody does that. Nobody sends their test results to an escort unprompted so I'd wonder what the motive is lol

Yes unprompted seems weird but it does seem like a reasonable thing to do for everyone involved. Safety should be the priority.

As far as the health checks. How does a client currently verify something like that?
They don't, and even if things were made legal, they still wouldn't as your health record is private. As of the age of 14 even a parent doesn't have access to their kids medical information unless they are granted by the child.
For those who use prelib, I have access to the latest test for proof on my phone, but at the same time if a client demanded to see it, well it is still my private information and my choice if I so choose to share it.
And if it is done threw family Dr.s then there is still no proof, as you are often told the results by the Dr, and not handed the paperwork.

No matter what happens in the future, a client will never be entitled to a SPs health information. If my family members aren't allowed what makes you think clients have any right.

No job " just is". There are regulations and laws around.all of them. I can't just sell food without a license and permits or a proper location.
Exactly what I said ->
They just "are" within the existing laws, and rights, of the country.

And I don't want safe spaces to do my job or an employer. People today can choose to work for themselves and start their own company at any time, with the Internet easing the creation of websites and marketing tools, people are more than ever self-employed — plus, they can work from home. This is what I do, this is what I want to continue to do.

Because they’re a client and it involves their health too? It wouldn't be asking for your entire health record. It wouldn't even necessarily be checking in with you. There are already jobs that require to get HIV tests. Not sure why this would be a problem. I would gladly do so.

Your wife doesn't have access to your health records.
Besides it is a reason why condoms and safe precautions are involved.
Not just that, but how would you like it if you had to provide your testing information to every provider you see, as we need to make sure we aren't going to catch anything from you.

A provider who takes her work seriously, takes precautions, often many more precautions than any average civilian. Sure there may be some who might likely be super spreaders if they don't. It is what makes any form of bb services a risk, each chooses what risk level they are comfortable with.
It's up to you to decide what risks your comfortable with too.
Kind of like I would refuse to ever see anyone who ever even asked for bbfs, because even if they agreed to covered services, I am safe in assuming the risk is too great for my comfort levels at that point.

And even those jobs that do HIV testing, don't share your results with others. And don't prevent you from working. It is the persons responsibility to protect others from themselves though.

Even a start up at home has rules and regulations they need to follow. Comparing an online job where you have no direct contact with clients to one where you're directly in contact with them is way off.

Should I repeat it again?

Really, can't wait to have this job legalized and controlled by the government and all the men in this country. I will be out in no time.

And no, there are a lot of jobs where people are self-employed, work from home and still have direct contact with clients, such as meeting with them in person.

I would be fine with it. I thinks it's personally reasonable for them ask. Specially for those that do bbbj.

Yes escorting too should be legal within thr existing laws of this country.

Who says men have to run it or over see it? Where would you leave too?

A test doesn't mean you won't get an infection. It only takes one intercourse after the said test to be infected. I will not have one client every three months along with a monthly test just to make sure I am not carrying something at the moment. The risk is inherent to the business, and you choose to play or not.

That's not at all what I'm talking about. I'm talking about verifying for certain that a client has no STI. The reason why I said 3 months is because of infection window period.

I hope you realize if we did that, the proof you send would need to include your legal name, name of your doctor in case we need to confirm the information, and probably a photo ID as well to confirm you are the person with that name. Sounds crazy because it is crazy.

And regardless of ALL that, you could have gotten tested 2 days ago and became infected after, or you could have a false negative, etc... so it's pointless all things considered.

As for your comments regarding the legal landscape... Plenty of jobs dont have regulations specific to them. General laws surrounding labor isn't the same thing as regulations specific to one occupation.

My point is they have a good record in Nevada. Their system seems to be working.

We want decriminalization, not legalization. Not everyone wants to work in brothels in Nevada, it seems terrible. I don't even want to work for an agency here, let alone do this job for an employer (let alone the government!). Most women would leave the industry. Why do you want to push governmental regulations on us?

About decriminalization : please listen to SP's around you instead of watching a 5 minute youtube documentary or reading a short newspaper article.

A question to my fellow SP's : what is your dream booking? Like the absolute perfect date with a client? I'll answer mine later.
