Talking about tips. What's the usual way to tip?
I get the idea for the envelope before. But for me it feels a bit awkward afterwards for the tip.
For my first time I gave the tip together with the donation. It was my first time and somehow I had the feeling it will be great. I didn't regret my decision![]()
It goes however you feel like giving a tip. Most of the time I got it at the start with the initial payment. It does give an extra chipperness to getting the time started. I have rarely gotten it at the end, and once was slipped it by etransfer, after the visit, even though I don't accept transfers as a personal rule.
Either works, at the beginning, says you have faith that you are going to have a great time, and after, says you had such a great time you feel obliged to contribute more.
And for those who don't intend to tip, bring exact cash, because the assumption is overpayment is tip, not your expecting to get change back. ( it has come up before.)
