It's why I share my face too. I can't read eyes, but apparently everyone else can, and sees something that draws them in. Even if I only see a pretty shape.

The number of times I have been told it was my eyes that sold it for them. That my eyes told them everything they needed to know, to want to book me.
I didn't think, and still am not sure, anyone would be interested unless they got to see my face too. I couldn't picture standing out, in the crowd of beautiful escorts, if they didn't see my face too.
I decided to be face out personally because I didn't feel like having to put up with constant requests of ''showing my real face'' or having people describe what my face looks like in reviews. What you see is what you get. One thing that surprised me tho.. is that a lot of clients mention that they think I am prettier in person and that ''I should smile more'', so no matter what, you will be different in person. In the past, sex workers didn't have to be models and influencers lol .. it wasn't really part of their job. A friend told me that some people would advertise using caricatures of themselves sometimes. Most of the ads just included text descriptions

There would be an add in the Journal de Montreal. You would call the booker and they would say: "Oui, Natasha, une belle rousse de 24 ans, des beaux gros seins naturels, tu seras pas deçu!" It was simply classified ads (lines of text) at the back of the newspaper. Backpages! Tada!

(I'm not that old, but I am 100% sure this is how it went)

Funnily enough, I don't have face pics but I really don't care about being outed. My family and friends know what I do, I share lingerie photos (face out) on my real Instagram etc. The only reason I don't show my face is because I'm self conscious (about my looks not my job, lol) and because I don't want yet another thing to have to think about during photoshoots. I can take a photo with a funny/blurry etc face and still use it to advertise if the body looks good.

I'm more worried about someone outing my real identity on merb than I am about someone outing my escort persona to the people who know me in real life. I know my people and I have no shame, but I don't know most merb members or their intentions.

But that is not likely to happen since I don't use my actual legal name anywhere online
You are defiantly pretty Julia and apart from that you are an amazingly kind and nice person.
Don’t ever underestimate yourself.
There are very few like you who are so pleasant to be with.

I decided to show my face on impulse because I entered the industry in a rushed and unexpected way. I started seeing clients as an indy pretty fast and the first massage parlour I worked at showed everyone's face. I was told it would help me get clients faster.

At this point there's no going back. I absolutely regret it tho, I won't lie.. but when I retire it won't matter anymore. This journey is part of a very specific chapter in my life, and I've learned a lot of important lessons through it. As an artist I find it crucial to assume who I am and what I went through fully.

Do escorts hire someone to write their profile on Tryst? Most of the time it reads like it was written by an ad agency. A bit always in the same style and often quite polished. (I made this observation before the advent of generartive AI). Am I right in assuming that someone does it for them as a service?

You're probably wrong. I think a lot of escorts look at other profiles and kinda copy what seems to work.. Maybe some ask for advice, I don't know. I just know how I wrote mine.. I was very spontaneous but it was a lot of trial and error. I think a specific type of wording works better than others, and that's why a lot of them are similar. Otherwise I think maybe there are marketing trends. On my social media I started this debate about the use of words like ''high end'' and ''luxury''. Compared to a few years ago, most were against using these terms.. for ethical reasons but also aesthetic ones. They seem disingenuous. I try to avoid anything that seems disingenuous in my branding personally but it's very hard, after a while you start to understand what type of fantasy ''sells'' and what appeals to the type of clients you want to get

Some do, some don't. I didn't hire anyone for mine but I did look at plenty of independents websites to get inspiration. However I've also had friends/colleagues ask me to help write theirs so it's not necessarily done by an ad agency, I've honestly almost never heard of providers using those services. It's more common to do it ourselves or ask someone within the community or a friend

Yes that's what I figured, people ask their friends for help writing their profile and website

I wrote one for a provider pro bono and it was fun. I sometimes go back to her website and re-read it bc narcissism probably.

Dear lovely SPs, do you mind client body hair? Love you all!

It's not my place to tell anyone else how to style their hair, and that means anywhere on the body. It's normal, and in some situations it adds to the fun.
While cuddling playing with chest hair.
While DATY holding his head in place by his hair.
I've even had a biker client, I would braid and play in his beard.

Dear beautiful Ladies and Providers of happiness,

Do you like having your feet played with? Would you be willing to do this with customers?
This is something I've always wanted to try. However, I've never dared to ask anyone: girlfriends, FWB, or providers.

From my searches, no one really asked about it. Julia Sky provided some information, but that's pretty much it. There's nothing in parts 1 and 2 either. Sorry if I missed it!

I'm not icked by someone playing with my feet, I just don't have any desire or connection with them in general. Their functional, not pleasurable.
It doesn't bother me, I'm not excited by it, but I'm not opposed to them being touched either. I might find it interesting to know and see what plays in someone else's mind when it comes to feet, but I don't think my feet cute enough for someone really into feet.
Then again having them massaged felt nice.
