I have to say that there are so many places that serve it. Some good some bad. My favorite though is Ma Poule Mouillee! It may not be the original version but that portugese chicken and chorizo combo is to die for!
Still better to go drunk!IDK if it's still good, but Greenspot in St Henri. Haven't been there in a decade and I was usually a bit drunk when I went.
I think Greenspot is still the best spot for a poutine! It's not BBQ sauce, more like a beef sauce which is better and the potatoes are brown and fresh, not frozen. My type!IDK if it's still good, but Greenspot in St Henri. Haven't been there in a decade and I was usually a bit drunk when I went.
The Green Stop maybe?Greenspot is okay, but I remember AA across the street had better poutine when I lived in St-Henri. (I was usually not sober when I went so who knows) I still like Chez Claudette's poutine a lot, although I haven't been there in a while.
I gotta try that placePoutine chez Paul Patate, sur Charlevoix, malheureusement ça ferme très tôt.
yes! but I haven't been in a whileThe Green Stop maybe?
Chez Claudette on Laurier?
I think Green Stop is dead nowyes! but I haven't been in a while
No I meant Chez Claudette. I used to go there for breakfast when I dated someone who lived nearby but their poutine is good too.I think Green Stop is dead now

Indeed, the gravy! What bbq sauce? for their poutines? you mean their gravy? Very deep dark beef based gravy. potatoes are very earthy... like chalet bbq's... i wouldnt be surprised if their oil has a certain portion of beef fat in it.

oh yea, Dillalo's poutine is pretty good too. but i never had it sober lol1. Orange Julep.
2. Chalet Bar-b-q (Sherbrooke at Decarie). Chalet BBQ has the drippings from the rotisserie chickens added to their sauce.
- Dilallo Burger on Allard used to be amazing… the one on Notre Dame was by far the best (but they shut down during the pandemic) now they (the one on Allard) hold back on the cheese like a frightened turtle…
