At least 5 ice ages have happenen on earth the earliest was over 2 billion years ago, and the most recent one began approximately 3 million years ago and continues today (yes, we live in an ice age!). Currently, we are in a warm interglacial that began about 11,000 years ago.
The last ice age had the equator still being tropical so there is a warming trend. There will be another one for sure, probably after I die.
Yes, technically, we are still an ice age because there's still ice at the poles. However, because human actions have caused the Earth to warm dramatically, polar ice is melting at an alarming rate. This will result in coastal flooding affecting billions of people and the resulting social disruption will be staggering.

Exactly, in the past, humans were almost certainly not 8 billions and didn't produce
CO2 like we're producing now.
Predicting climate with what happened million years ago doesn't make sence for me.

Since I was a young boy, I have been told one day that eggs are the best thing for me and that I should eat them regularly. The next day, I was told they were the worst thing I could eat and should not eat them.

It has been the same thing with the climate and environment. It has left me jaded and I no longer believe anything that is said. Add this to the COVID-19 nightmare that was perpetuated on the masses and the experts have long lost any credibility with me. This includes all international organizations and their endeavours. It is unfortunate that it has come to this but being a player in this hobby, I am wise enough to know when I have been had.

There was an article in the New York Times on July 23th 2023.
Unfortunately for you , he's not dead '

Alors tu penses qu'il est trop tard ? Que si nous faisons ce qui doit être fait aujourd’hui plutôt que dans dix ans, nous serons condamnés ?

Best I can do with Google translate.

But do you think if we get to net zero 10 years later than planned mankind will be doomed.

Yet politicians in most G7 countries are actively increasing the population by giving many financial benefits to have kids, the more kids you have the more generous the financial benefits.

The UN is pushing for a population decline crisis yet it is clear that the more humans there are the more pollution there is including more CO2 emissions. The far-left made people stupid and are looking for emergencies just to justify adding more taxes. Climate change is indeed an emergency so pay more taxes.

Anyhow enough of the pro-government, communist rant by some. The way to control climate change is via new technologies and to keep population growth in check. Taxes will not change it and anyone who thinks that this is the solution is very delusional.

August, 2023 was the hottest August ever recorded on planet Earth. It was also the second-hottest month ever measured, behind only July, 2023. The world's oceans were the hottest ever recorded as well.

In fact selon the EUROPEAN UNION'S COPERNICUS CLIMATE CHANGE SERVICE ....JUNE to AUGUST was the planet's warmest such period since records began in 1940. Plus they say it's almost certain that these temperatures are the warmest the planet has been in 120,000 years given that we know from millenia of climate data extracted from tree rings, coral reefs and deep sea sediment cores.
''These are the hottest temperatures in human history'' said Samantha Burgess, deputy director at Copernicus.

It's been a searingly hot summer for swaths of the Northern Hemisphere--including US., EUROPE and JAPAN----with record breaking heat waves and unprecedented OCEAN temperatures....with the tragic results we seen all over this summer....of course il y aura toujours
des sceptiques...lol.

Far-left politicians like to push for climate alarmism just to be able to add more restrictions and more taxes. They blame it all on climate change including forest fires. Many of us said including me that most of the forest fires are being started by humans and because forests are being razed fires are spreading fast. Behold the evidence.

I will not summarize but will just copy paste the key material from the article:

A 37-year-old man from Chibougamau, Que. is facing arson charges in connection with the numerous forest fires that occurred earlier this summer in that area.

Quebec provincial police said the man was arrested Thursday after a 'meticulous investigation.'

Brian Pare, 37, appeared at the Roberval judicial district via videoconference Thursday afternoon to face charges on two counts of arson.

He will remain in custody until his court date on September 11, say police.

Interesting to note how what so called conspiracy theorists say turns out to be true. Well here you go. I am sure there are more cases like this but is simply has not been caught or exposed.

A clip about El Nino ( Happenimg now )

Wait, what is El Niño again?

El Niño is a naturally occurring climate pattern associated with warming of the ocean surface temperatures in the central and eastern tropical Pacific Ocean.

(The opposite is La Niña, where the surface of the Pacific Ocean cools.)

Together, the El Niño/La Niña cycle is referred to as the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO).

El Niño occurs on average every two to seven years and typically lasts nine to 12 months.

It has been linked to extreme weather conditions, from heavy rainfall in South America to drought in Australia and parts of Asia.

The WMO said there is a 90 per cent probability this latest El Niño event will continue through the second half of 2023 and is expected to be at least of "moderate strength."

El Nino is known for long time and it doesn't explain the extreme temperatures and rainfalls in 2023 .
The international news show them almost daily.
I am old enough to to have witnesses those changes.
