Does it mean that more educated and intelligent people believe in science instead of bullshit ?
Lets take a look at what you mean by science. When you write science you actually mean follow government orders. So far they are saying a lot of bs. First they say AstraZeneca is good then all the side effects come out. Then they say you can mix vaccines then after they said it is risky and the side effects are unknown. Sometimes they say the vaccine is very effective against the Delta variant then they say the cases are spreading fast. A whole lot of nonsense. So to all those Complicit Theorists they mean follow government orders.

This delta variant is 4 x more contagious than the original COVID-19 strain. The reason being the virus load in a contaminated person is 100 to 1000 times higher.
The fully vaccinated people are still significantly (not 100%...) protected against hospitalization and severe consequences. But they can and will transmit the virus to another one, vaccinated or not, up to a non-vaccinated or vulnerable person. The only way to fight is to raise the vaccination rate. Idiots not understanding this are just well... you know. This is science and it has nothing to do with obedience.

I chose to be vaccinated. What a great fucking country I live in where I can make that decision for myself. If you don’t want to be vaccinated I disagree with you, but I respect your decision. The keyboard scientists can post all the bullshit they want, it’s not gonna change the freedom to choose whatever the fuck you want in the US of A!

Unless you work for the federal government or a large corporation. Or even some state governments.

The country is getting less free each day. Government overreach is growing with each coming day.

CANADA ranks 2nd behind ISRAEL for the country having administered 2 doses .... it's good :) but still work on the board especially as the vaccination rate seems to decrease ...... and 71.4 % with one dose.

BTW Canada has more than 66 million doses almost double its needs ..... so why not distribute it to countries in great need ... must not forget that it is a GLOBAL fight and must assume our responsibilities.

1st in OECD, which is indeed commendable - ahead of USA, UK, Japan, Australia, Germany, you name it - we're on top. We need 2 doses of the vaccine, so 66 million is enough for the whole country. HOWEVER, only 49.1M have been administered. We really need more!

Rules are mandatory when too much people have an attitude putting at risk the health of the population. We buckle our seat-belt because we know and it is demonstrated that it saves lives. It is the same with vaccination and wearing mask as the delta variant is a game changer. I don't get what is so difficult to understand...

Florida has reached the highest number of COVID-19 cases in one day since the start of the pandemic. The state reported 21,683 new infections. Nationally, one in five cases of the virus is found in Florida, the new epicenter of the pandemic in the United States. The most recent record for the number of cases reported by the state was on January 7, with 19,334 new cases. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis does not require people to wear face coverings. He has also limited the power of local authorities to implement health measures, in particular by prohibiting school boards from requiring the wearing of masks in class. Those always crying about lost of freedom must be more concerned about lost of lives.

And here, in Canada.
THE PARALLEL WORLD OF JASON KENNEY This is not about politic. Only facts!!!

What parallel world does Alberta Premier Jason Kenney live in? Starting August 16, Alberta will end the mandatory quarantine for people with COVID-19. No need to isolate yourself for 14 days. You read that correctly: an Albertan with COVID-19 will be able to leave his home and transmit the virus as he sees fit in one of the least vaccinated provinces ... That's not all: the screening tests are no longer Recommended for asymptomatic patients with COVID-19, masks will no longer be mandatory indoors and Alberta will cease the vast majority of its tracing operations. Let’s weigh our words: it’s a stupid, irresponsible decision denounced by public health experts across the country. "This is the height of madness. Even the most fervent anti-masks do not say to let go of contagious people in the population, ”summed up Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi. Jason Kenney declared the pandemic over in Alberta when he "opened" his province for the summer. We all want the pandemic to end. No one is talking about reconfiguring the whole country like during the first waves. But governments must act smart. Not to take their wishes for reality. Albertans deserve so much better.

Florida becomes COVID hell with record new case numbers and a new record for hospitalizations.

Continuation of this post in The Republican Party thread.
