The same argument for public health and costs was made by Nazis when they started to euthanize psychiatric patients. They claimed why to spend large sums of public money for somebody who will never recover? This is a slippery slope to rely only on so called “rational” arguments. The democratic, free, humanistic society has its cost. I am sure every unvaccinated person has its own rational to risk his life and remain unvaccinated. Some have history of family disease and afraid that vaccine can trigger it (legitimate yet unproven), phobias (people irrationally afraid to death of many things) , religious, cultural reasons etc. As was said on this board, it is a way out for the government to find a scapegoat instead of admitting its own failure for preparing an adequate response for 2 years. The emergence of breakthrough variant was long expected and yet government did nothing to prepare for emergency and increase hospital capacity.

The press conference of Legault is a complete joke. This guy claims that the Vaccinated have sacrificed?? What exactly?
