Fauci reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George walks out of the room on a high note. Fauci getting beat up this week by the committee shows me that he should have walked out of the room a long time ago and could have on a high note. I have no doubt that this committee is just trying to be political and pushing their agenda. Fauci is a patriot, given his life to helping people, and I think he is just over exposed. He's constantly on TV and just like an actor being in too many movies, people are just getting sick and tired of seeing Fauci all the time. There was a time when he was revered for his press briefings and push back on the previous administration. Now it's just too much and he needs to take a step back and let someone else take the fall for the lousy way the current administration is handling COVID.

No wonder Arruda quit or was fired. He saw where the Pandemic was headed in Quebec.
By far the worst province in Canada for hospitalization and death.
Yesterday the death toll per capita in Quebec was twice as high as in the States. Something that would have been unheard of just a few weeks ago. .
There has to be an independent inquiry on what caused the fuck ups and then heads have to roll including Lego

Donc on a 50% Von Vacciné et 50% Vacciné . 43/2= 21.5. Si 100% vacciné on aura 21.5/2= 11 personnes de moins.
Tu as un raisonnement sélectif.

I found this article interesting, forgive me if it was discussed earlier. After the mandate announced by Dube, health officials saw a massive uptick in vaccine appointment requests averaging 1,500 per day. The number of appointments swiftly increased to 6,000 within that same week. This may be the recipe to end the anti vax movement altogether.

Hospitalizations for novel coronavirus treatment increased by 105 with 419 patients checking in for treatment and 314 being discharged. There are now 3,300 people in hospital with infections and 282 of those are in intensive care ward, an increase of seven from 24 hours ago.
Of the new patients, 289 were double-vaccinated when they checked in, 122 were unvaccinated, seven received one dose of vaccine and one person was under five years old.
Coronavirus in Quebec: 21 new deaths, hospitalizations rise by 105 | CTV News

With this news today, it looks like the 50/50 ratio is out the window. The Unvaccinated now comprise 28 percent of the total in intensive care. Vaccinated are taking over fast, should they be taxed Mr. Legault?

So with 90 percent vaccinated today, we are obviously worse then last year. I mean, I just do not understand. Is the Vaccine making it worse?

It is not as simple as you express the situation.
If you live in Quebec province, you should know that the age structure is different.
The pourcentage of persons over 70 years is notably higher than in the rest of the country.
From 2003 to 2018, the Liberal Party was in power except for a short time (2012 - 2014) about 18 months.
What did they do for improving the Health System ?
Explain it, me I would say nothing. Quite the contrary. wait times at Urgencies have increased, access to doctors decreased, etc.
I seriously doubt another Government would have done miracles.

It is actually. Every decision Legault made was rooted on the idea that the Vaccine will solve the problem, and that it will keep the Pandemic under control. It is why he got aggressive towards the Non Vaccinated. His whole strategy was based on that concept, and it is where he invested all resources and efforts. To be fair, he is not the only western Leader that went that way. This strategy is divisive, and it has failed to control the Pandemic. He only listened to one category of scientists instead of building a portfolio of scenarios and the necessary actions. They are always taken by surprise even though the information is out there. He has proven that he is not the leader for this situation, and he is continuing on the same failed path, too pride to recognize his mistakes, and creating more divisions.
