I have to agree, its time to stop the habbit for a while. I am surprised that so many agencies still post and post GFE.... Its sad for the girls, I can just imagine their financial insecurity right now. I think its showing the downside of this industry not being legalized.... The GVT should pro actively reach out to these girls to offer support. They are a particulalry vulnerable community financially right now and working will put them and the clients at risk.

I also imagine that strippers are turning to sp work with all bars being closed....

An expert on the airline industry has stated that most airlines will go bankrupt before June 1st. Boeing has dropped 20% so far to-day. Forget recession if this craziness continues we are headed to a depression.

GFE or not once your are within a meter of another person that may be infected and still be during the incubation period... You are at risk!! I cannot see any agencies forcing any one to work either.

On a more positive note the first injection of an anti-covid19 drug was given to a volunteer in the US.
Even if all works perfectly we are still months away from a mass produced effective and safe anti-viral medication.....Unless the Chinese have secretly been developing something .

Let’s hope so! New SP’s are always welcomed and the new competition will make everyone step up their game

Any reputable provider and agency should be taking a break for the next 2-4 weeks, for their personal reputation as well as the broader hobby.....

I'm sure agencies are able to take a financial hit temporarily. I think it's because the girls want to continue working. If an agency closes for now, their girls might go work at a competing agency, and owners probably wouldn't want that, so they stay open.

If people are prohibited from working due to the Corona Virus pandemic, who gives the all clear for them to work again?

In the US that’s done at the state level, so the governors. The governors are the ones who shut down the bars, gyms, restaurants etc. at least that’s how it’s been for now. The fed can override the states but Trump is letting the states work out their own issued for now.

Markets getting destroyed in the US...Dow is down around 2,700 (Dow) in the US...Trump announces the current situation could continue to be bad until August!!! Governors across the US have called for mandatory closures of venues and gatherings...will be a massive hit to the retail industries. This is gonna be ugly for a while.

Yes this could definitely lead us to a depression. But honestly my first tough is that it does not kill me, my family and/or too many people.

Alive we can always slowly rebuild our way of life. Does not matter if it takes 2-3 years as dead we cannot.

Agencies do not force anyone to work under any circumstances. They do scheduling and booking for ladies who choose to work on any given day.

EXACTLY CORRECT! The ladies have absolute control over their scheduling and whether they will see any one.

Canada puts the US to shame in terms of its preparedness and testing for COVID-19 of its population, which is 1/10 that of the US.
Some experts are now saying the South Korean model has been very effective. https://www.wsj.com/articles/how-so...st-aggressive-coronavirus-testing-11584377217

From the WSJ:

"The test-heavy approach comes with fewer restrictions in South Korea, a country with a single-payer health-care system and a sweeping infectious-disease law that helped speed up its coronavirus response. Tests are administered at no charge when doctors recommend an individual gets examined, or if investigators unearth a potential link to a confirmed case.

The government approved its first test kit on Feb. 4, made by Seoul-based Kogene Biotech Co., when the country had reported just 16 cases. Distribution of test kits started three days later, said Baek Myo-ah, a Kogene executive director. Three other suppliers also soon won fast-track rights to start production after a 10-day review. That prepared South Korea for the worst when in the span of two weeks the case count exploded from 31 on Feb. 18 to nearly 5,000."

"South Korea’s high test count is a reflection of the broad powers the government gave itself after a botched response to a MERS outbreak five years ago. Investigators now have access to credit-card transactions, smartphone data and security-camera footage. This provides a snapshot of a confirmed patients’ whereabouts—and a broad picture of the potentially affected people."

How so? It wasn’t in the article.

You're right. It's not in that article. My assertion is based on what I've read and hear from various "reliable" mainstream news outlets.

ArthurLaroque might be right. Quebec might have been able to test at a greater per capital rate than other provinces.

It's encouraging that they have begun clinical testing of a new potential vaccine.

The Spanish Flu was more fatal in its second peak. Let's hope Covid-19 second peak isn't as bad; what happens in China in this regard will be telling, assuming China is transparent and truthful with its reporting.

Gaby -- you're right. I think the DOW might drop below 18,000 before it can attain sustained increases again. A global recession is inevitable in the coming weeks.
