Trump is only thinking about winning the next election and absolutely nothing else. It's all political crap. He knows this move will be popular to his base.

If he really wanted to fight China's role at the OMS he would use all his allies to back him up. That is how you do things. i Specifically remember when Clinton was acquitted back in the day there was a SNL skit where the guy playing Clinton literally walked up to a podium with the presidential seal for the cold open, and the audience cheered for about 2 mins in applause. The actor (forget his name) who played Clinton just stood, smiled and acknowledged the cheers and then when the cheering and applause stopped finally, he tore his shirt from his suit in a Clark Kent fashion and revealed a Superman suit that was underneath to hint @ being bullet prooof/invincible.
