Based on the story the unvaccinated culprit should be tried for 2nd degree murder. No different than knowingly giving AIDS to someone who dies from it.
The vaccine is not 100% effective , nobody is trying to hide that fact. The victim may have had an underlying ailment that he wasn`t aware of.

You serious.... This is just radical and irresponsible.. this kinda of thinking is a recipe for civil unrest or even civil wars... People need to calm the fuck down. The more time goes on, the more we are discovering how this vaccine is not such a miracle worker. Time reveals all....

Conclusion: non-vaccinated seniors are 1.3/0.2 = 6.5x more likely to get hospitalized. Table shows 1271/146 = 8.7x more likely.

Of course, because countries that can afford vaccination for the entire population with our efficiency, can afford testing at the same level as well! The more you test, the more you will find cases. They just don't have the resources to test that much in underdeveloped countries. Does it mean there is less cases? We just don't know.

This issue relates to whether media bans/de-platformings of researchers such as Dr. Subramanian affects our ability to fully understand this pandemic.

Of course, vaccine is greatly efficient even in 80+ population. But this efficacy will even be improved with the third shots going on.
I'm in the 60+ range, with special condition, and as soon as eligible, hopefully in december or january I will get my third shot.
Meanwhile, I will get my anti-flue shot early november! For what it's worth, I also take multivitamins for seniors from november to april, as winter times are more difficult for me. Too strong doesn't break! When it is cheap and easy, go for it.

Another thing to consider with respect to that study is that it only looks at vaccination vs number of covid cases. It is a very simple study looking at statistical correlation.

Of course, the reason why there is no decrease of cases as vaccination increases is because restrictions get removed as vaccination increases. The other reason is that the vaccine is not sterilizing.

The important thing is to look at hospitalizations, and to a lesser extent, deaths. That is where the effect of the vaccine is most evident.
