Agreed. We don't know.Of course, because countries that can afford vaccination for the entire population with our efficiency, can afford testing at the same level as well! The more you test, the more you will find cases. They just don't have the resources to test that much in underdeveloped countries. Does it mean there is less cases? We just don't know.
The paper also looked at different regions within certain countries.
For example in the United States, they compared different states.
This issue relates to whether media bans/de-platformings of researchers such as Dr. Subramanian affects our ability to fully understand this pandemic.
