Well if i was gonna book lets say an american pornstar, either for a "fly her to me" or me going there in LA or Vegas, then i know i would have to go trough a ton of "paperwork" because these are famous etc. Real identity, deposit etc etc. That would be fine in this case i guess. But if i could book those famous ladies, it would mean i won the loto and wouldn't care much on loosing 1000$ if i end up getting scammed.
But this is just "wishfull thinking" so to get back in reality , wich is "not rich me" in Montreal LOL, i personally refuse to go trough those steps. Even if the lady in question is real, has good review, and i am sure she don't intend on scamming people, its still too much of a "hassle" that i feel is not necessary. Not when you have so many good agencies or indies that don't require them.
I know its different from guys to guys, some peoples here are more lurkers, they may see lots of girls and barely ever review or post, but in the case of peoples like me who have been here for 10 years, built a solid reputation on safety/reliability, then i don't see why it would be necessary.
I see sometimes providers on twitter mentioning they are cancelling a tour and have refunded deposits, so i think most SPs are honest and will refund. But in the case that Hungry mention about holding the deposit "hostage" for a next time booking, thats something i wouldn't want to happen because its not a given ill be able to reschedule. I see providers not that often and between now and then, she could retire, an old fav of mine could come back and take priority booking etc etc.
So yeah in my case when it comes to Montreal i decided i will draw the line on 2 things.
Deposit
Real identity disclosure before a meeting (thats not to say i won't give my real first name when we meet face to face). I mean if after multiple bookings she feel at ease with me and want to share more, ill most certainly do. I had a few SPs share FB with me during the years so im cool with that. But what i mean is clearly giving my name, work place yada yada trough a "booking form"
I am cool with confirming my identity on merb tough (by sending her a PM) and i would sugest every SP ask for that step. I saw an SP on twitter the other day mentioned a guy used somebody from merb virtual identity to book her and ghost. Always make sure its really that person first. Anybody could text and say "hey its Halloween Mike of merb, i want to book..."
