Freshman Republican Congressman Peter Meijer from Michigan had some harsh words for his own Party on Memorial Day, and he tweeted that they can "go straight to hell" for salivating over a new civil war in our country.
Though they are still few and far between, we are beginning to see more Republicans speaking out about the insanity that has taken over their Party.

This is our Michigan republican who stands for democracy.
He deserves praise for supporting democracy as opposed to the united dictator states.

If you needed any further proof that the ballot audit taking place in Arizona was anything more than political theater, consider this new development: Republicans have now opened up the audit for tours.
This entire spectacle was a farce from the beginning, and Republicans are now trying to make it into a sideshow attraction to appease the crazier members of their Party.

So tax payers are paying for this circus? I really hope Arizona votes out all the republicans.

They’re turning the backbone of our democracy in to a money making scheme.

Republican leaders and operatives have been expressing concerns recently about the fact that Donald Trump has drive away plenty of talented lawmakers and would-be Republicans because of his behavior.
They now fear that his antics have set the Party back a generation, and this has now become a "generation of lost talent" for Republicans.

Trump has also chased away a generation of voters. The Republicon party has become one of hate and anti-Americanism.

You should tell Trump that.

If he had acted losing and accepted defeat, I would have stopped talking about it, as all journalists would have done.
The new fashion in GOP States is to conduct audits on november 4th election.
We know they do that to please their sect guru.
What will come of all that craziness, futur will tell.

In a recent interview with The Hill, Republican Senator Mitt Romney admitted that there is virtually nothing that would shake the Republican base's love and support of Donald Trump, even if criminal charges come for the former president.

In other words, the Republican Party cannot be saved. Romney is correct, and the fact that the base of the Republican Party continues to grow crazier over Trump is proof of that.

A report from The Houston Chronicle this week shows that indicted Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, has spent no less than 22,000 hours looking for voter fraud in the state of Texas and has so far not come up with a single instance of fraud.
Paxton was indicted for securities fraud several years ago, but delays in his trial have allowed him to remain on the job, even as he faces new investigations for bribery.

So republicans don’t want to spend any money on the general public but are willing to spend a fortune on voter no fraud that doesn’t exist.

Paxton is a disgrace. Much like most of our other elected officials.

More than 100 scholars have signed onto a letter warning that democracy is under attack in the United States and Republicans are the ones doing the attacking.
We are truly at a crossroads in this country with regard to the Republican attacks on our country, and we have to decided whether we are going to put an end to this for good, or if we're going to continue letting them destroy everything until the country doesn't even exist anymore.

We don’t want your opinions, Mitch, nor your conclusions. We want a full investigation of all aspects of the assault on our democracy and our Constitution.
We are looking to the future of our nation to prevent such an atrocity from happening again. Never forget!

Anyone with brains can see that Mitch is playing both sides. That never works.
He makes the republicans look even worse than they already are.

Republican Representative Paul Gosar has now been implicated in a plot to disrupt the Arizona recount that took place following the 2020 election.
Leaked messages obtained by the Washington Post reveal that Gosar had wanted to use the Proud Boys to create his own version of the "Brooks Brothers Riot" in order to disrupt the recount taking place in Arizona.
The plot never materialized, but the messages implicating Gosar are very real.

Shocking but not shocking after 4 years of continued lies by the trump administration, totally supported by his complicit sycophants … this disgusting action by Gosar is so believable.

They don't even want an investigation, because they know they were complicit.

The Republican Party isn't happy that Donald Trump is heading back out on the road for rallies this summer, but Democrats are loving the idea.
His appearances are going to remind the public why they voted against him in the first place. Indeed, there is absolutely no good that can come from these rallies, and about the best thing that Republicans can hope for is that they don't cause them too much damage.

Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

Trump rallies will help Democrats remind voters why they didn't re-elect him.

He will drown himself more by spewing his hate and conspiracy theories that don't exist.

Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney accused former President Donald Trump of having committed the worst violation of a president's oath of office by inciting the January 6 Capitol insurrection -- and taking a jab at House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy over his subsequent visit to Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

"I was stunned. I could not imagine any justification for doing that," Cheney said of McCarthy's visit to Trump during an episode of David Axelrod's "The Axe Files" podcast, which was taped Saturday afternoon as part of a University of Chicago alumni weekend event. "And I asked him why he had done it, and he said, well, he had just been in the neighborhood, essentially."

Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has repeatedly clashed with McCarthy, who has tried to align himself with Trump, and subsequently the Republican base, going into the 2022 midterms.

Thomas Kennedy accused Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) of doing “nothing” to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Good for this man. It takes courage to stand up to power. The incompetent governor should indeed resign.

DeSantis is actually doing something: he's killing people.

He needs to resign for misleading the state of Florida. The state deserves a responsible leader not just a dammit like this.

A fact:

103 million Americans are vaccinated in Democratic States.
62 million Americans are vaccinated in Republican states.

It is in line with the same lack of judgment with voting with Trump.
Not completely true because many Republicans voted for their State and Local candidates and against Trump as President.

A group of Senate Republicans sent a letter to the Department of Justice, whining about the treatment of the people who participated in the Capitol riot earlier this year.
They are complaining that rioters from last summer weren't treated as badly for their alleged crimes, even though there were plenty of mass arrests and charges against individuals all over the country.
The truth is that these Senators - including Ted Cruz, Rick Scott, and Tommy Tuberville - are trying to distract the public from the atrocities that happened on January 6th.

What's unfair is these Republican senators are not in the jailwith these insurrectionists.

Let the whiny senators complain all they want. The insurrectionists deserved to be in jail for their foolishness on January 6.
