Giuliani is banking on nepotism and name recognition to catapult him to office, but his father's legacy isn't exactly one that leaves people feeling inspired anymore, and the legal problems facing the Giuliani patriarch certainly aren't helping.

Republican Representative Lauren Boebert was humiliated into deleting a tweet this week where she said that the only way to stop the Delta variant of the Coronavirus is to turn off CNN and vote for Republicans.
The backlash that she received across the social media world led her to be shamed into deleting the idiotic statement, but the damage had already been done.
The Delta variant, and the original virus, still need to be taken seriously, and Boebert's attempt to downplay the crisis shows that she isn't serious enough to be a real leader.

You can't undo "stupid," it's in the brain. Besides, Republicans don't care if their next door neighbour dies of COVID-19.

He's still the leader of the conservative party, to not have him there would have been a mistake. DeSantis and Noem were there and they look to be the frontrunners for 2024. If not them, it could very well be Trump and DeSantis as his VP. It will be very interesting how it all plays out and a good indicator will be the mid term elections.

COVID is spreading roughly twice as fast in Republican counties as it is in Democratic counties across the United States.
