Now that the Republicans will have the majority at the House, they will try to find reasons to impeach Biden.
If they don't find valid reasons, I suspect MTG will impeach Biden for using to much toilet paper !
Yup. She's tried several times already over everything from Hunter Biden to the US selling strategic oil reserves to China. The selling of oil to China from strategic reserves? Oh it was also done while Trump was in office in 2017, with 550,000 barrels sold. But logical consistency is only for thinking people.
The attempts to remove Biden, now far-fetched, could become more likely to succeed if the GOP wins the House in the midterms.

Two more things
- there is some Democratic precedence for MTG's early attempt to impeach Biden. Al Green filed his first attempt to impeach Trump in May 2017 over Trump's firing of James Comey (the one where Trump told NBC's Lester Holt he fired Comey over the "Russia thing"). Al Green was rebuffed by his fellow Democrats. In contrast, MTG hasn't been the only Republican to file impeachment articles against Biden.
- inasmuch as impeachment is an inherently political tool, the reasoning has to have a basis in reality. Reality, as the strategic oil example shows or even Jewish space lasers, is definitely not MTG's strongest suit. She pulls a lot of these stunts to fundraise off her braindead base. So in between untethered from reality and revenge from Trump being impeached twice, at some point MTG's impeachment article will be that Biden used too much toilet paper.
Yeah, their priorities are not the economy, healthcare, affordable housing, tax reform, judicial fairness, reducing gun violence, the environment, or anything else useful. They'd rather use their limited power to sabotage the good things the Democrats are doing, and to attack Fauci and the Bidens because they're butthurt that the world's biggest and stupidest crybaby was impeached twice.
Are the Republican politicians the worst scumbags the world has ever seen? Probably not yet the absolute worst, but if they stay on the path they've been on for the past six years, they'll probably soon be contending for that honor.
And...just a question: How damn stupid are the voters who re-elected Q-Anon types like Boebert and MTG?
In one of their first press conferences, the House GOP didn't tackle anything of the problems you suggested. What was more pressing than those problems? Hunter Biden!!!
As for answer to your last question, of course the voters in her district aren't bright (uh oh liberal condescension
) but it's worse than that. Not only do they condone (at minimum) MTG's prejudices just like they do with Trump or actively have the same prejudices (at maximum), but a good proportion of the Republican base is now post-policy. So it doesn't matter if the modern Republican party does nothing to help them while Democrats do. Decades of polarization by right wing talk radio like Limbaugh and, of course, Fox News has cast Democrats as enemies.
A very concrete example happened in Biden's first year. There was an additional $1400 pandemic-related stimulus check floated by Democrats. MTG's district isn't a rich one; the median household income is about $54,000. But MTG voted against it, as did all Republicans in the Senate. But since Democrats had majorities in both chambers, people in MTG's district got the $1400 anyway. There are countless examples like these, like Republicans who railed against funding infrastructure despite the fact infrastructure funding was for the entire country. Ditto student loan forgiveness that Republicans and their judges are blocking, as if it's only Democrats that go to college.
Beyond her shtick of owning the libs and pleasing her base with impeachment attempts, there isn't a concrete thing she can point to as proof she's improved their lives in the last few years, but none of that stops from her cruising to reelection. It's the perfect dictionary definition of cutting off your own nose to spite your face.
