GND - Dual Personalities

Maybe it's just me, but I seem to see the term GND used in different ways which I find a bit confusing.

On the one hand, there's the meaning of "that hot girl next door" that you always dreamed of being with (ok maybe a bit specific in terms of my own fantasies) :eyebrows:

On the flip side, I see people associating GND with negatives such as a few extra pounds, not having a porn star look etc.

Which is it people, I'd like to know since when the term is used without any context it can be a little confusing. Maybe there's other versions too, please do share.

GND to me is a girl who doesn't dress provocative or revealing, minimal makeup. She doesn't stick out of a crowd at first glance. A girl that has more of a natural look than than a made up one.

I'd pretty much agree with TheDon. A GND is pretty, looks great in a pair of jeans. She is not a glamour queen.

I'm of the same mind, guess some folks use the term differently. Came across a few posts that used GND as a derogatory term almost, but I guess if they're looking for a Barbie doll GND would be a turn off.

For me she isn't glamorous or a model-looking type. But she has a very natural prettiness that can also be extremely hot. In a lot of cases I would prefer this type since on the whole there is usually less ego or selfishness to deal with, and maybe less "maintenance" in every way.

Makes sense. For me I guess that's why it threw me off so much. I won't deny that there is an appeal to the model types but a GND look for me is what creates real attraction.

I would say to me GND is the kind of girl you would meet in real life at work, at school, on the street, she is pretty but don't wear too much make up, dress casually mostly, does not prevent her from being very hot, but its the kind of girl you would not suspect to do porn... Also Fake tits kinda remove the GND acronyme mostly...

If i would be to use porn as exemple... i would say GND would be Riley Reid, Rylinn Rae for exemple. Glamourous would be Madison Ivy amen and trashy... Bonnie Rotten...

But sometimes there can be wild card... i think Riley Steele looks GND even if she got fake tits... and she is blond with pretty eyes. She has that simple girl vibe in some way. She remind me of Kim Matula from The Bold and the Beautifull(Hope) wich i think is very GND. On the other hand Jaqueline Mcinnes Wood who plays Steffy hot more the glamourous borderline trashy kind of look and especially not GND...

If we go in the more well known... Amber Heard, very pretty, can look glamourous a lot, but i think the GND look apply and fit her well(just look at her in the movies she played) where Megan Fox is more trashy...

Anyway, i think its a matter of perspective...

Megan fox I'd say would be an example of wildcard. As we know her in tye media and print, I'd have to also say definitely not GND. Wyen she's not all done up tho, she can very much fit the GND look. A bit of anomaly from my standpoint.

Ill go pop culture as I don't know the names of most of the actresses would put on shows just for my own personal delight :lol:

Interesting getting all the perspecti es and seems the way you see it is what I was originally describing. Something along the lines of GND having a limit of how hot they can be, then they leave that category.

The more I thonk about it, I guess for me GND is mostly driven by a naturally beautiful face. As HM mentioned there can be some restrictions to that like fake DDD mellons, and I'd say it might likely be impacted by being far in to the bbw side of things.l, but I don't think having some extra weight would be a detractor.

Seems were right back to the first responses, must be very much a personal thing.

I will say this tho, give me a GND any day over a super model or porn star!

Megan Fox is trashy to me because of how she look AND act. I mean, she look like a slut...and the wa she move make her look like it. There is some girls like Scarlet Johansson as some of you said that you look at them and they look like georgous women, they got the curves, the boobs, the eyes, they just look beautifull... but when i look at Megan... somewhat i just think "dirty slut". Maybe its my perspectve... but well Maybe its her roles that make me think that too...i dunno. I know this can be misleading sometimes...

I think we pretty much all agree on what it means. It's not a matter of having two definitions, but some people love it and for some it's a negative quality.
They can wear sexy clothes and lingeries, but look just as good in a plain nightshirt. To me a GND is someone I can relate to, unlike a porn star, and they make me more comfortable.
Strange at it may sound, I think Shakira has a kind of GND look and attitude (although she's now technically a MILF):

Care to elaborate? Spinner is not normal? Or maybe I do not understand what spinner is? I always thought I was a spinner but I do consider myself normal? Or maybe it is like those adds that's says ''whatever your normal is ...''?

Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, Katherine Heigl GNDs??? Not a chance in my view. They are all quintessential glamor beauties of the highest caliber. The first two are a pair of the most glamorous women in the world and Heigl is pretty much there too. As for Angelina Jolie I don't think she's more beautiful, but she has a uniquely exotic glamorous look with a bit of a scary edge she thrives on in her very physical parts such as Salt, Mr and Mrs Smith, and as Lara Kroft.

Now McAdams, shes a great example of GND. She sure can glam it up to compete with the best of them, but she is basically a very beautiful GND. I think the old Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana is another perfect example of that type. Sure she's gone trashy. But anyone can go trashy. It's a matter of combining look with attitude. I don't blame her for doing that either. I have no doubt now that she has been desperate to make her own mark beyond the role the controllers of her contract as Hannah demanded her to play as a squeaky clean virginal paragon money making machine. It will take time to see who she really is, but I'm sure even if being trashy is the real her it's also has a great deal to do with breaking from her former image and the control of others.

When I met Jenna MTLGFE/Vivienne of MSC I was floored by her persona. She's a sweet-face lovely GND with a slightly trashy sex vixen edge that's incredibly intoxicating to me. So much in a woman is about breeding/character, attitude, and the persona one projects.

I'm don't think sure breast enhancements change who a person is, or necessarily move anyone out of being GND. I think people who believe otherwise have been too trained by the media or their own libido to peg enhancements as being sexually trashy. One of the smartest, sweest, and most caring women I ever knew got enhancements. So she has sexuality too. Where's the problem.

On the other hand if someone gets DDs or DDDs and more, it's very hard to make an argument she's just an average normal woman. But hell, maybe she can't swim and feels better carrying her life preservers all the time. :lol:
