Habs have caught a break with their road game vs. Sharks due to ban on crowds over 1,000 by Santa Clara County due to Coronavirus:

Tiny crowds on the road is exactly what Montreal wants/needs in this late season push to make the playoffs, however long a shot it is. You need all the help you can get.

EB, the habs will not make the playoffs and know it. That's why Charlie Lindgren is between the pipes more & more. That's also why they got rid of several veterans at the trade deadline and didn't pick up anyone. Too many teams are ahead of them and it'd be unrealistic to even say they have a chance. The only chance they would have had to make the playoffs would have been to squeak into the Atlantic ahead of either Toronto or Florida but both teams are already too far ahead since we're now in the final three weeks of the regular season.

Wait a minute now, Gaby and Jalimon both said Habs would make the playoffs. Don’t the Habs have some duty to give their best efforts to reward their faith? You make it sound like the Habs don’t give a crap about their dog-faithful fans.

I gave up on them quite a while.....plus they are horrible at home....they are lucky to have such loyal fans BUT it won't stand long !!!.....4 years in the last 5 they are not making the playoffs.....MOLSON will have to take serious decisions soon.

In the circumstances, i could not care less how they got in; I always watch a game a night in the playoffs and, would be happy to watch hockey and what a better way for the business to start with playoffs instead of a regular season ....
+ bonus round for the Habs whoohoo, why not, better for business, unforeseen oporrunity for our Habs to Redeem their bad season...
Nothing is done yet, the players will have to decide if they want to work or not, i think they should and that would help all levels of the hockey community( From Timbit hockey to the junior/senior hockey playets)

One of the biggest upsets in recent memory... Habs were 24th overall , this year in the standings , the Pens were 7th.
Without scoring a power play goal in 4 games.

Well they will play FLYERS---first round........very interesting to watch JULIEN vs VIGNEAULT---THERRIEN.....should b a good one BUT FLYERS are on a momentum.....but who knows???

It starts tonight ..the fever is not there yet....was driving this morning downtown--southshore---and saw only one flag ......normal que l'ambiance ne soit pas encore au rvous.....alors aux HABS de la créer........mais ce ne sera pas facile vs l'équipe de l'heure.
