You, CS, are a laff a minute. Keep it up. Every board needs its laughing stock and you, sir, are ours.

For all of you who still trust and believe what comes out of politicians mouths and what the media says.
The first casualty of war is truth.

You just know better,. Questioning and being open to alternative "truths" should be the norm. Today those who question are labelled as quacks and nut cases and conspiracy theorists. This is exactly how the church suppressed all who ultimately did not kneel before them.
As George Bush said."You are either with us or with the terrorists".

So to start with.
On 911 cell calls from plane were impossible. The FBI finally admitted that the cell calls were fraud... but the fraud was not investigated.
On 911 first time in history that a plane and it's contents completely burnt, evaporated. The supposed plane that hit the Pentagon.
On 911 first time in history that a Steel-concrete high rise building completely collapsed due to office furniture fires. WTC 7. Check Architects and Engineers for 911 truth.

Now... The Emperor knowingly and intentionally oks sending arms to Al Quada.
President Obama waived a provision of federal law designed to prevent the supply of arms to terrorist groups to clear the way for the U.S. to provide military assistance to "vetted" opposition groups fighting Syrian dictator Bashar Assad.

Sorry, anybody who could refer to Obama, probably the President with the least muscle in the last 40 years, as Emperor, is hopelessly out of touch with reality.

Yeah, there's a lot that wasn't investigated re: 9/11, notably why the President at the time ignored the very clear warnings he was given a month earlier.

So you believe that 911 was a conspriracy to intentionally murder almost 3K Americans? It was a deliberate act by the US government to kill its citizens? Is that what you believe?

You also believe that The Emperor knowingly and intentionally oks sending arms to Al Quada.

I'm curious. Why would Emperor Obama, as you call him, arm Al Quada?

Even Obama's good buddy Warren Buffet says Obamacare not right: http://moneymorning.com/ob-article/obamacare-buffett.php

Mods, the text from Warren Buffet was worth taking up bandwidth:

Buffett: Scrap Obamacare and Start All Over
By Money Morning Staff Reports

Healthcare costs in the United States are like a tapeworm eating at our economic body.

Those words come from famed investor Warren Buffett, who said he would scrap Obamacare and start all over.

"We have a health system that, in terms of costs, is really out of control," he added. "And if you take this line and you project what has been happening into the future, we will get less and less competitive. So we need something else."

Buffett insists that without changes to Obamacare average citizens will suffer.

"What we have now is untenable over time," said Buffett, an early supporter of President Obama. "That kind of a cost compared to the rest of the world is really like a tapeworm eating, you know, at our economic body."

Buffett does not believe that providing insurance for everyone is the first step to take in correcting our nation's healthcare system.

"Attack the costs first, and then worry about expanding coverage," he said. "I would much rather see another plan that really attacks costs. And I think that's what the American public wants to see. I mean, the American public is not behind this bill."

THE ONE AND ONLY REASON THAT OBAMA IS PUSHING THIS ABOMINATION IS THAT IT'S THE ONLY THING HIS PRESIDENCY EVER DID, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF BRINGING GAYS MORE ACCEPTANCE IN SOCIETY.

Hello all,

Merlot other than...stupidity...

Since the mods allow this kind of thing, all you've shown is a will to act like nasty trash whenever it suits you. Despite claims to be brought up to show respect and manners you do this with ease proving otherwise.

So you believe that 911 was a conspriracy to intentionally murder almost 3K Americans? It was a deliberate act by the US government to kill its citizens? Is that what you believe?

You also believe that The Emperor knowingly and intentionally oks sending arms to Al Quada.

Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., and Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., endorsed providing military assistance to the Syrian opposition during an appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday.

"Our intelligence agencies, I think, have a very good handle on who to support and who not to support," Corker said. "And there's going to be mistakes. We understand some people are going to get arms that should not be getting arms. But we still should be doing everything we can to support the free Syrian opposition."

This is included in the same link HUmm64 provided. No Republican Senator would dare support any move to send arms to Al Qaeda, so very clearly this is not the case. What is very well known to all in the U.S. and everywhere else is the opposition to Assad is a mix of political interests and it will be impossible to guarantee Al Qaeda will not receive any weapons. The special allowance agreed to by President Obama and a few Republicans is an open acknowledgement of that dangerous risk, NOT permission to give anything to Al Qaeda.

People blasting President Obama for taking this risk should revisit the Reagan Doctrine of arming the Muslim Mujahideen (whose offshoot became AL QAEDA) versus the Soviets in Afghanistan during the 1980s with up to $40 BILLION in arms...and was instrumental in providing Bin Laden with the opportunity to become the effective monster he was.

Frankly I'm ambivalent about any of these moves in Syria because of all these risks.

THIS THREAD:

Some of us might want sincere discussion. Unfortunately this thread is so much about pointless stabbing at each other...two dogs eager to snap and get the last nasty bite of each others tails until they chase each other to death.

Actually, I keep posting good content. Some continue to pursue me in the same fashion as before. I can't and won't be deterred by his continued attacks. I'm content to post valuable content regarding my views on Barack Obama. The reality is that most of the posters on this board are liberals. They've created their own thread where they prefer to post and really don't want other's views. Good for them.

Sorry but I can't help being very direct on this one. This is one of the most over-the-top statements ever. For someone to assert that one of the biggest worldwide sources of self-promotion and rumor mongering nonsense is news reliable is NUTS.
Cheers,

Merlot

You set the tone by calling me "nuts" for the mere suggestion that people would use Twitter as a news source. REALLY !! it's time to join the 21st century and get connected.

Actually, I keep posting good content.

CS,

I've enjoyed talking with people of vastly different views in the real world, sometimes bitterly different views, no matter how hard and frustrating that can be...and contrary to the silly pointless impulse that makes people force those who don't agree with them into either hyper-Conservative or hyper-Liberal labels I'm not either. But many can't stand the idea that there's a middle road so they deny it completely.

I DON'T LIKE seeing two sides or any two people go at each other with the contempt I see in these threads. But it seems to be that not having to face a person eye to eye, keyboard contempt is too easy to lapse into and enjoy. The same people wouldn't dare do it looking at each other, and no one side has been any better than the other about that.

As for good content, when anyone keeps posting from those sources that only reinforce one-sided views, no matter from which side, they aren't looking for good content. They're campaigning for a side. There are plenty of Conservative sources that would support much of what you do. But they are also truthful about the validity of what opponents say sometimes, and so some stay with Fox News, or MSNBC on the Left, where one-sided campaigning is the rule. I'm not saying either of those news agencies are completely invalid, there's some truth in some of almost everything. But their goal is polemics and to slant events to serve only one side. No one can keep their sources narrowly focused on these and honestly say they are using "good content".

Sorry but I can't help being very direct on this one. This is one of the most over-the-top statements ever. For someone to assert that one of the biggest worldwide sources of self-promotion and rumor mongering nonsense is news reliable is NUTS.

I don't know what your first language is, and maybe the meaning wasn't clear, but the intention was to say the idea is nuts not the sender. Maybe that doesn't change anything, but having had a Twitter account for years, from experience I'll tell anyone that doesn't make sense. I could have written better, but unfortunately I didn't. At least Sidney had the class, maturity, and intelligence...better than me...to get by the poor handling of my own writing to make a very strong point with the utmost thoughtfulness and respect for herself, and showed a great deal of validity that changed my mind a little. If she had said she was brought up to learn respect and manners...she has proven that abundantly. Your first impulse was trash talk and then get worse..

Cheers,

Merlot

I see that you you have removed the majority of your insulting posts towards me . Such as Liar and other nastty barbs thrown at me.

I offered to tone down but you & your buddy never relented. So I find it hypocritical of you, having deleted all your trashier post, to come back and pretend that I'm the only one at fault for degarding the conversation.

It's nice that you have taken my suggestion and acknowledged that Sidney showed more class than yourself and your cohart have. It's also positive that you have learnt about some of the benefits of Twitter because of the feedback of posters that disagreed with your intial reaction to my factual statement.

So may I suggest that in the future if you disagree with an informative post , do a little research first, rather than causing ill feelings that nobody benefits from.

I've posted content from a variety of sources, none of which is popular on this board. It is immediately declared as impartial. Frankly I don't view many of the media entertainment press as being real journalists or publishing good content. So we have a difference of opinion. No one said I had to post content that everyone agrees on. Let's face it Rumps is only going to bother to read from the same old Kool-Aid producers he's used to viewing. Let's remember what I consider center, you consider Right Wing. I've been so polite as to not constantly call some of the other dribble posted just what it is, "____________". Again I'm being polite instead of labeling it.

This thread was obviously dedicated to exposing one of the greatest threats to the US in my lifetime, Barrack Obama. You don't like what I post, DON'T F__KING READ IT. That's your choice. It's fascinating that a supposedly upright operating mammal immediately labels something prior to even reading it. It's hilarious. So yes, I point out irrationality. Do I really care what either he, rosie or you think? In a word, NO!

I'll post my content, you post yours. In order to be considerate to the Mods, I'm trying not to post entire stories. I post links and make a comment. This takes up a minimum of bandwidth. The real waste of bandwidth occurs when Rumps makes some BS remark. The world has pretty much spoken and declared BO to be a joke and Putin & Company are laughing their asses off at us. The economy is anemic at best, the signature health care bill (per Warren Buffet) is a disaster. Obama has been a god-send to the gay alliances and the environmentalists.

Global Warming is turning out to be nothing but an excuse for Obama to gain a measure of control over industry. The ice cap is actually expanding according to the latest measures.

You really are too fucking much, Marty. Pray tell, on what planet is the ice cap actually expanding? Or, rather, on what nutblog?

Actually, dopes like you are what are dangerous. And the dopes you read and parrot. You'd be even more dangerous if you had a brain.

Emperor. Emperor. Emperor, my sweet Irish ass.

Correction; you are posting BS from nutblog and keep ignoring good and reliable content...

You mean the guy who has been:

1. Running the Guatanamo torture facility for five years (and numerous other rendition (contracted torture) sites in places from Romania to Bagram),

2. the guy who doubled troop levels in Afghanistan,

3. Led US attacks against seven countries (Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yeman and Pakistan, Libya and Iran (Stuxnet) that we know about and is threatening and eighth (Syria).

4. Has overseen the largest growth in any spy agency ever and now records (via tapping of undersea fiber optic cables) ALL international telephone data-based conversations

5. Allocated between $1.0 and $1.4 trillion in defence spending when all items are included
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_budget_of_the_United_States

6. Is threatening to bypass Congress to attack Syria...if he wants to at some later date...

Yeah...that guy is weak....

P.S. You forgot the vastly increased drone use to back up his own private hit list and the first ever assassination of a US Citizen by those very same drones!!!

Yeah...that guy is weak....
Yes, Sam, the guy who started the health care debate from a position of compromise and compromised even further to the point where he wound up with a giveaway to the insurance industry is weak. Yes, Sam, the guy who passed a stimulus bill that was half of what it needed to be because he didn't have the huevos to demand a real stimulus from congress is weak. He's been stared down by Republican intransigence at every turn.

No, Sam, I'm not going to argue your points on his foreign policy actions. The fact that he's basically been George W. the Second gives me no pleasure at all.

We finally agree on something. His current UN Ambassador is an absolute joke. Frankly, I was looking forward to less war, less military action. His insistence on supporting the Muslim Brotherhood at all costs is making a mockery of our foreign policy. Bengazi was a gun running operation for Syria. Why else would the CIA have such a relatively large operation in a small outpost? Let's face it Obama is an "amateur" when it comes to foreign policy. Hillary was just as much of a disaster.
