Thanks, everytime the Leafs get beat they are one step futher ahead in the rebuild, example: another top draft pick. I just wonder if Babs will be too good of a coach this year and get the Leafs playing too well and screw up that top 5 pick! :D

Don't worry Ig: It should be easy to find out the name of that team - they were the same one that destroyed the Leafs 4-0. Happy hunting:thumb:

In that case they're WAY ahead in the rebuild...with 48 years of losing already behind them, and currently off to one of the worst starts in the entire history of the woebegotten franchise. Congrats!

Only trouble: they don't know what to do with high draft picks, as history has so successfully proven. Ah well, maybe ONE day Little Mitch will make it to the big league...and who NEEDED Tyler Seguin and Dougie Hamilton anyway? After all, they got Phil Kessel ...and we know what a success that ultimately turned out to be. (Every team needs a wrench and two pairs of pliers, right? And that's what they got for Phil.)

The thing is that none of those years have anything to do with MISTER Shanahan, MISTER Babcock, MISTER Lou Lam or MISTER Lemaire.

Look behind you.
Gotta chime in here...... My GEO have won two in a row, some of you may say not a big feat but when you are an Oiler fan two in a row is looking good. Last two seasons they came out good then cratered for the rest of the year, who knows this year.... Enjoy the hockey season no matter who you cheer for.... :cheer2:

Congratulations to the Toronto Maple Leafs - A True Dynasty

ESPN recently announced that the Leafs were overwhelmingly identified as the absolute WORST team in North America - not just in hockey, but in all 4 major team sports (hockey, baseball, football, basketball).

The Leafs have now been awarded this prestigious title two years in a row and three of the past four.

Congratulations to the Leafs on their incredible dynasty of ineptitude!

Nothing wrong they are consistent

It's obviously been tough for a few years but the Oilers have a very bright future...as well as FIVE Cups not that long ago. In fact, they have more Cups in the post-expansion era than any team except the Habs. (They even have one more than the Wings!). And, needless to say, they have FIVE more than some "NHL" teams that we all know!

MISTER Lou Lam or MISTER Lemaire.

The rumor going around the last BCE shareholder meeting was that the Leafs from this point on would only hire guys who are 70+ years old in the hopes it will reduce the chances MISTER Shanahan tries to fuck one of their wives. :thumb:

Needless to say, they have not hired Craig Janney.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have fired Todd Richards and replaced him with....drum roll please....John Tortorella!

At least their post-game interviews will be entertaining.

Of course with an 0 and 7 record they had to do something. For Pete's sake, they even lost to the Leafs! That, of course, was the ONLY win so far this season for the wretched Leafs, even though they have "the world's best coach" (since May 20, 2015, that is) guiding them to their current 25th place standing. (The Jackets are 30th - ZERO points don't get you very high up in the standings.)

Boyzzzz!

Same here, love John's charisma, it is good for the NHL to have him back coaching. In a game where every player's interviews (except Kevin Bieksa) are as boring as watching paint dry with their typical opening line of "well yea" it is great Johnny T is back!, Baby!!
Glad to see John back behind the bench

Anyone know what the score was in the Edmonton/Red Wings game last night? I figure the Oilers must have lost, but did they at least make it a fairly close game?

Huh? The Oil beat the Wings? As the great John McEnroe would have said: "You can't be serious!" What was the final score?
