I could see them losing them all considering the "Psyche of the Mtl Canadians" right now (See my excellent post on this from a day ago) Here are their next nine opponents in order: Ottawa, San Jose, Los Angeles, @ Dallas, @ Nashville, @ Minnesota, @ Washington, @ Tampa, then @ Florida the next night......1-8? 2-7 maybe? 0-9???? Let's hope!

I'll quote this now so that it's saved for posterity. Then 9 games from now we can see how well your prediction turned out. MY prediction is that it will turn out as well as all the OTHER predictions you've made since 2008.

Good luck:thumb:

I wouldnt be too surprised if Beaulieu got traded. He's not a Michel Therrien type of player and management isn't pleased with his off-ice behaviour. Especially when you consider he's struggled lately.

Max Pacioretty hasn't scored in 15 games. Dale Wiese hasn't scored in 10. PK has only 1 goal and he never gets off the ice during a powerplay. Markov has slowed down considerably. Galchenyuk has been very inconsistent and continues to be a disappointment considering he's been in the league for several years now and hasnt progressed much.

All signs are pointing that Bergevin is close to pulling the trigger. A trade is imminent. But to get quality, they'll have to give quality. And teams have the upper hand now since the habs are struggling and soon will become desperate.

Troubled addict and party-boy Zac Kassian isnt the solution, folks!

Iggy, our dear friend will never have as many posts as we do. The main reason is that his sole reason to post on this board is to bash one particular hockey team and mock their extremely knowledgeable fans. No other reason. He doesn't bring anything to the board. Even though we both really like the guy and we both tried to include him as part of our circle of friends (he declined our olive branch), he is by far this great board's most useless member.

Who knows. Maybe we'd also be as troubled if we'd cheer for the team he cheers for. I feel his pain and we should support our friend in these tough times he's going through. I have not given up on our dear friend, a fellow hockey fan. Were he in front of me, i'd show him some love and give him a big hug right now!

Something is really off with the Wings this year... Yes, we're on a 13-game point streak, but this endless string of giving up leads... Babs had his warts, but he was doing something right. Hopefully just growing pains with Blash.

That said, Detroit hasn't been right since Lidstrom retired. Kronwall, at best, is the prime on a 2nd pair, not a #1. Just makes you appreciate how great a player Lidstrom was - a rock in the back all his years. No way to replace a generational player like that.

I'd love to see a Wings and Habs playoff series, which was sadly and narrowly missed last year. Fingers crossed.

What about me? Would I get a hug also?

Think you're mistaken on this one, Doc - it's the Leafs fans that need the hug after so many years of failure. :(

I wasn't aware that you were also a Red Wings fan, Wolfie. I promise to give you a big hug the next time you meet up. And i promise never to smoke your cigar again! ;)

p.s. You're right about Leafs fans needing a hug. Were it not for the Leafs, i probably never would have had to venture to Mtl so often over the years....desperately seeking affection.

1. Perhaps your dear friend will never have as many posts because he actually has a life that extends beyond the board.
2. Perhaps his primary (not "sole") reason to post on the board is to correct the erroneous statements often incorrectly presented as "facts" and to be, in effect, the conscience of the sports section.

I think the only problem with Blashill is that he plays Howard too much and Mrazek not enough. One thing no coach should EVER do is allow Jimmy to play if the game goes into OT.

Of course there's no doubt that THE WORLD misses Lidstrom but Kronwall is a very good d-man. The d needs improvement after him and De Keyser though.

No kidding! Those poor, poor souls....with a half century of failure, humiliation and broken dreams....and STILL no present and no future.

No problem mon ami, so far out of the next nine games i posted about, the Canadians are 1-2 and now comes 8 tough games on the road starting in Big D Saturday night. Hopefully Seguin and Benn take it to the lifeless group from Montreal.

Tonight the panel on L'Antichambre (or was it on Dave Morissette's show?) were saying that the habs would be lucky to win two games on that long road trip.

Here's hoping they're right and if so, i'll have more $$ to spend next month! :D

Boyzzzzzz!

In other NHL news tonight, Jonathan "BIG GAME" Bernier is back baby! What a game by the Leafs at the ACC. About time their relentless effort was rewarded with a blowout win against Bernier's former team and one of the best in all of hockey, Thee LA Kings.

Speaking of blowouts, a quick check of the scoreboard and indeed the CONDOM did break down in Dallas tonight as the Canadians took a ass whooping of monumental proportions :thumb:

Boyzzzz! and Doc,

How about rookie "savior to the season" Mike Macarron? How did he do in his first ever game in the show? 6'6'' 235lbs of pure savior is how Canadians fans were describing him in so many words before the game..... is he the real deal? Haha
He was a disaster! Tokarski is now between the pipes! Subban is also having a terrible game again!
