do you really think scabs fans will resist Doc? ROFL! my money is on Mrs. C to post first so you will delete this thread, we all know he is Obsessed with Les Scabitants and gets upset whenever anything bad is said about them, as 1300 of his 1600+ posts are defending his habs. Also habs fans would not have to read "Habs Suck" everytime they log into the sports section, so expect a non habs post anytime now. i cant believe you of all people would give a scabs fan what they want....geesh! Think of LEAFS NATION!!!!!

Okay, you've made a good point. The thread stays. :D

the Leafs have more hope for the future than the sad-sack Scabbies.

Well perhaps you're right. Let's compare: leafs second last in the entire league and out of playoff contention since very early in the season, vs. Habs, in the final 8, having defeated the NHL's best team in round one, and now tied in games 2-2 with the defending Stanley Cup champions in the quarter-finals.

Yup, that's a really convincing argument you've got there - NOT!

When have you heard any of these clowns admit that the Habs suck? Never. And now, Jaroslav Halak is starting to look human after all & playing like Jaroslav Halak is supposed to play like. Habs really suck, even more than i imagined!!!

As for the Habs, they'll once again make the mistake of holding on too long to their free agents & will likely miss the playoffs. If they don't, they'll squeeze in & get eliminated in the first round. Sad! (Not really! LOL!!!)

A typically insightful post from Holliday. The only surprise is that he hasn't yet deleted it like he usually does with his most ridiculous and embarrassing ones.

As for figure skating, i don't mind it. I like ice dancing.
One of the best winter Olympics in my opinion were the Calgary games of 1988, when we were thrilled to the 'Battle of the Brians', when USA's Brian Boitano edged Canada's Brian Orser by an extremely narrow margin. In the women, we were thrilled by the sensual Katerina Witt, and were happily surprised by Canada's own Elizabeth Manley, who won the silver & could have beat Witt for the gold if it wasn't for questionable judging.

I won't prevent myself from watching a certain sport just because the stigma of homosexuality comes attached to it.

Maybe this explains why you know a lot more about figure skating than you do about hockey.

Burkie does have a new team, and it's gonna be a ALL BRIAN BURKE Team before he is done...

Well, the 3 finalists for the first-ever GM award in the NHL have just been announced and Burkie and his followers (BOTH of them) must be heartbroken that BB wasn't named. After all, it was Burkie himself who begged and pleaded for this new award to be created, because his unrivalled egomania and his lack of connection with reality probably made him think HE would win it (ha ha ha).

Gee, I wonder why he isn't one of the finalists? You'd think that taking a 24th place team of losers and turning them into a 29th place (!!!) team of losers, with the worst record that their sorry franchise has had in two decades (!!!) would make you a finalist for the best GM wouldn't you? Well...maybe...IF you were a typical delusional leafs fan like two zombies we all know well.

we have a good young bunch of guys with tremendous upside to build a very good team around, that is a couple free agents away from being a playoff team and a contender in a few years and dont worry Tech, your team will be playing golf soon after the leafs, lol.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha - sorry, laughing too hard to type!

As a Bruins fan I'm actually getting a wee bit worried that the Leafs may creep into 28th place since the NY Islanders are only 4 points up on them now!!

Needless to say, you were worried for nothing SK - the leafs succeeded in LOCKING UP 29th place (actually not a bad performance for such a hopeless bunch of rejects).

How about the Leafs you ask? hmmmmmm Leafs vs. Scabs? one team finally going in the right direction while the other in for some lean years... hmmm, i will bet on the Leafs thank you!

BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHH!!!!!!!!

For once, your juvenile and insipid "bwahaha" was appropriate - although probably not in the way you intended!

yea it is, but this is Pitt, the defending champs and i really think Pitt is the best team in hockey right now, they have the experience and oh, they have crosby/malkin as well..... and "IF" markov is out, well, it is gonna be tough for Montreal to say the least.

Thanks for your post.

slamming the habs is a year round sport, not limited to just Leafs fans either, and you better hope may hockey in montreal doesnt start out like april hockey ended for your "little" team, was that even hockey the scabs played the other night? looked like the pens against the remparts for crying out loud! :)

Pens 2 wins, "Remparts" (sic) 2 wins. leafs zero wins.
