Look behind you.
Just hoping the GEO stay in the win zone for awhile, they were in a bit of a slump for awhile. Thirty some games left and possibilities of a playoff spot, the team that does surprise me is the Leafs, they have games in hand and could move up a bunch if they win those. It would be nice to see the GEO and Leafs in the playoffs, we would crush them of course :D:D

The Rangers showed a lot of pride and guts in retaliating against Toronto with a powerful win featuring 2 goals by former Leaf Michael Grabner who has 21 goals and may score 40 this year. The Rangers are deploying him to more effective use than his past teams. In any event the Rangers will be there at the end, you can count on that.

The NHL is a very tough league right now. It is hard for any team to avoid slumps and poor play for 80 games. What distinguishes the good teams is that they keep fighting and grinding and eventually things come around for them. It's not about how you do when things look great, but rather how you respond to the adversity when things are going bad. The game in TO was a gutcheck passed for the men in blue.

He will be fired soon, and will not be out of a job for long, great great GREAT coach! Cam Neely is an idiot if he fires him.
Bruins lost 1-0 against Chicago. Coach Claude Julien is in hot water in Boston....

The Bruins asa team have been in a slow downward spiral which really started when they traded Tyler Seguin to Dallas. Although I understand that they had to get rid of him because once a player on your team fucks another player's wife or girlfriend, there is going to be a loss of respect in the air, but still if you trade a guy that good you have to get value in return.

No, it all started when they traded future hall-of-famer Joe Thornton to the San Jose Sharks for a jock strap & a roll of tape. And then trading Phil Kessell for two players who spent barely two or three seasons in Boston, Tyler Seguin & Dougie Hamilton. And then trading Seguin to Dallas for another roll of tape & jockstrap.

Right and if not for Julien it would have been much worst. When Cam Neely takes over behind the bench they will regret him.

I really doubt Cam Neely would ever 'take over' behind the bench. He'll let someone else do it and then criticize him if the team continues to lose.

St-Louis Blues fire Ken Hitchcock

Ken Hitchcock was fired as coach of the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday and replaced by associate coach Mike Yeo.

Along with Hitchcock, goaltending coach Jim Corsi was fired. General manager Doug Armstrong said assistant general manager Martin Brodeur and goalie development coach Ty Conklin would fill that role for the remainder of the season.

"Obviously it's a difficult day for myself," Armstrong said during a press conference at St. Louis Mills Ice Zone. "I made a ... hard decision to change coaches. Mike will take over. I'm excited about that. It's a great day for Mike, a rebirth now for this group of players. ... We're excited."

Yeo's first game will be against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scottrade Center on Thursday.

Tomas Jurco traded to Chicago Blackhawks

The Detroit Red Wings have begun to dismantle their losing team by trading forward Tomas Jurco to the Chicago Blackhawks for a 2017 third-round pick.

More trades are to come from this losing organization.

You mean the LAST PLACE red wings? Those guys? We need a petition to let their biggest cheerleader back on here.

Meanwhile last nights game between the Rangers and Leafs was a instant classic. WOW! What a terrific game, even from this Leafs fan because only one point out of two was had but this game was incredible from start to finish. Imagine if the 2 were to meet in a 7 games series in the playoffs? 2 fast highly skilled teams with great goaltending, what a treat to watch last night, i even lost $20 but did not bother me one bit, i was so impressed the young Leafs stayed with a very good NYR team throughout the entire game, overtime and only the stupid shootout made the difference.

The Leafs future is sooooooooooooooooo bright!

Entire Red Wings team could be traded

by Michael Hunt, Detroit Chronicle

Detroit Red Wings GM Ken Holland promised his late boss one thing before he passed away last week: "Mr. Illitch, if i have to trade the entire team in order to build a winner, i promise you that i will."

Earlier today, Holland sent the underachieving Tomas Jurco packing to the Chicago Blackhawks and promised more moves are to come. When asked how far he's willing to go in order to rebuild the team, Holland replied that if it were up to him, he'd trade the entire team. When asked how far he'd be willing to go, Holland replied: "Just watch me."

The Red Wings have been among one of the worse teams in the NHL this season and are nearly guaranteed to miss the playoffs. But let's face it: they were lucky to even get into the playoffs over the past several years and this has only slowed down a much-needed rebuilding project.

When asked where it went all wrong, Holland told the media: "Let me be entirely honest with you. The fact Mr. Illitch passed away last week and is not longer among us allows me to once and for all be entirely truthful with you guys. The day we lost the great Mike Babcock was the day where things started to nose dive for this organization. This is the truth." When asked if this meant that current coach Jeff Blashill may get axed following this current season, Holland replied: "Who knows? I may wake up tomorrow and decide that Blashill's days with the Wings are over."

Holland also speculated that his own days with the organization may be coming to an end. "Maybe it's time to look elsewhere once this awful season comes to an end. Maybe it's time for new blood to come in with an entire different outlook than mine. I have grandkids at home that i barely know and Mr. Illitch's passing made me realize that life is short."

Entire Red Wings team could be traded

Ok so Tomorrow Montreal - Toronto.

This will be the clutch game for the habs to turn around their bad play of lately. They will turn around, regroup and go straight to the cup starting from tomorrow.

They have not put any puck in the net in the last 10 games or so. But somehow it will happen starting tomorrow.

You'll see.

Cheers,
