Isn't it nice that you can make fools go away so easily. Unfortunately, the Beav is the only visible Yankee fan left here. Despite the fact that he sometimes posts the most remarkable stupid shit™, I do enjoy reading what he has to say.

Hello Rumples,

Difference with EB is at least he has knowledge of the game and above all can carry on a mature conversation. I enjoy reading his pinstripe propaganda too. Always good to see all sides and never hurts to learn. Just caught the end of that Yankee disaster from yesterday....that was a sweet swishalicious swooosh that ended the game...lol.

Hey...do you know how to keep a fucking moron® in total suspense?:confused::confused:

About the David Ortiz questions...

david-ortiz-3.jpg

Todays trivia questions...2010 Season to date stats...

1. How many Yankees have 11 or more HR so far this year?
2. How many part time Yankee catchers have 7 or more HR?
3. How many Yankee catchers have 7 or more HR?

Have fun,

Jman

PS Bonus question...
How many teams in MLB have 579 consecutive sell outs?

You left out one question, jm. How is Jon Lester going to get the Cy Young award if Clay Buchholz stays healthy?

Good question Rumples.

Jon%20Lester%202.jpg

Lester is now 48 - 18 in his career. 30 games over .500. For baseball infantiles...that has not been done by any MLB starter since 1904. I heard somewhere that Lester is just overrated. What do you think Rumples? Merlot? EB? SK?

Have fun,

Jman

PS This is just a guess...but I'm thinking he's the only cancer survivor to ever get close to that mark. What a competitor...'nuff said. How can you not respect this kids accomplishments?!

both are certainly having cy young type seasons so far, if they can pitch like this all year, its gonna be another nice run at repeating. Wait till CC gets going.
I hate to burst your delusional bubble but the CY Young will come down to a race between Andy Pettitte and Phil Hughes.(My pick is Pettitte).

Yes, Jman it's easy to put someone on your ignore list, but it doesn't work. Like passing a car wreck, the impulse to look is very strong. Only by deciding not to feed the beast will it starve.

WOW!!! That's a .727 winning percentage. That combined with Buchholz being the winningest pitcher in the MLB since last August indicates the Red Sox have a fearsome two-some. I am really not aware of all current contenders for the Cy Young, but if these two keep being as dominating as they are right now both Buchholz and Lester will be in the mix. Remember, the Sox just completed a very difficult stretch against the best teams in baseball and they came through beautifully. It will be interesting to see what happens when other contending pitchers have to face such competition persistently. Then we will begin to know the full picture better.

Side Note: I pass by a lake on the way home and there was a beaver in the road today...no kidding. The car in front of me clipped it and I could have finished it off. But then I thought, who is going to write anything semi-intelligent and entertaining for the Yankees side here if I knock him off. "The Beaver" was shaken and stunned, but last seen staggering back to his rock for some TLC. Poor Beav.

it is also, besides being lame, like admitting that you lost, (not you) but the funniest part is, that the people who cry to ignore, are the ones who do the ftard post's also, only it is "ok" when they do it (in their glass house living little minds) :)

Good to see AJ getting the Yanks back on track today, also MVP candidate Robbie "dont ya know" Cano had another good day, as did Tex. (about time for Tex to bust out anyways, getting warmer and his swing seems to be getting where he needs it to be.

oh, almost forgot, i found a picture of J'mans house for everyones viewing pleasure. I would be afraid for him tho, can you imagine the sox getting swept by the yanks? im afraid the remote control would for sure break a wall...

I think you are wrong Igna, a very reliable source has told me that the Jman was seen walking around in pyjamas and slippers in this place - jman's residence

Hello Merlot,

I think you're wrong my friend...

You know about those accidents, I never could stand rubber neckers...get the hell out of my way! See for me, its easy to ignore a pair of village idiots. While the impulse may be strong to look, its not very difficult not to ... considering the known outcome from unintelligent life forms. Its always the SOS anyway ... either an insult to try and draw someone out or a pathetic attempt at an intelligent comment by an uneducated jackass. Ho hum...

man-yawning.jpg

And about that, you know if one guy says something it's one thing, but then 2, 3, 4, 5+++ ... after a while even a total nitwit should get the message to just shut the f$%k up. Some people just can't BUY a clue. Anyway...

I am glad that the Beav's ok. BTW, if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it ... does it make a sound?

Have fun,

Jman

Congrats to the Toronto Blue Jays for actually getting to 30 wins before the red sox!... the Jays could be the sleeper for the wild card in the American League if they can continue

Just found this in the Sunday Gazette in an article on diversity in Montreal. It was part of a list of 10 things to do if you want to experience what's going on in Montreal's ethnic communities.

"3. Cheer on the boys of summer every Saturday at a Dominican baseball game in Raymond-Préfontaine Park (outside Préfontaine métro station at Hochelaga and Moreau Sts.)."

Ironically, this park is only a few blocks from where Jackie Robinson broke the color line with the Royals in 1946.

"Cy" Pettite had another outstanding effort today, improving to 7-1 and someone FINALLY woke up AROD, at least his power, as he certainly did live up to this today

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQUGKgAFx6s&feature=related

The Empire has been a little shaky the last few weeks but lets hope with the way Pettite Hughes and AJ are pitching they can keep the Yanks close to the Rays , at least until CC gets rolling, and anything good Javy gives us is a plus.... anyways, a good day for the Yanks, and ALOT more are a coming this summer Yanks fans, hopefully!

I agree that on paper, it appears that he absolutely sucked. But if you saw the game, you also saw that in the 9th, he was absolutely robbed by home plate umpire Angel Hernandez on at least 3 or 4 pitches to the outside corner of the plate which would have ended the game. It was incredible!
