Haha. You're always good for a laugh. Yes we have a bunch of guns over here, but the government has higher yield weapons like drones, stealth bombers, tanks, nuclear submarines etc. The idea of guns to fight back against the government was definitely within reach when the 2nd Amendment was written. With modern warfare technology though, fighting the government with small arms like an AR-15 would be like a legitimate (not celebrity) boxing match between Mike Tyson and a toddler.^^^^^
There is a reason why the US has the 2nd ammendement. It is to be able to defend against tyranical governments. Communist/Authoritarian governments always want to ban guns under the pretense of protection.
Besides, because we have the benefit of an actual system of government in the West, the way we fight back is not with actual weapons but at the ballot box. Your country had another chance to oust Trudeau very recently and he's still there, coalition or not. Fighting back with guns is what happens in a lawless nation state like Somalia. They arrested the four protesters alleged to have planned killing RCMP officers in Alberta for a reason. The authorities didn't just wave their hands and say, "Oh no big deal the alleged plotters were just putting their politics into action because they really don't like the government."
