NJ is tough to ignore but Buffalo is my pick. Solid all-around team, excellent goal-tenders with an emphasis on the plural.
Why are the Rangers not in this poll, and yet the Canadiens are????????????? The Rangers led their division most of the season, have the league MVP in Jagr, and are the hardest working team in the NHL. The Canadiens are clearly a one-and-done playoff series team, and they should not even be in this poll. This poll is a joke!

Bryson said:And I'd say that it's a good thing you are not Gainey my friend! That would be a terrible move. I'm a huge fan of the philosophy,"if it ain't broke don't fix it." Huet may not have been the God he was the first game but he still played very solid and made 41 saves vs the 'canes 30 saves. Look at how many some of the other winning goalies made that night, Theodore made just 18 saves and let in 4, Brodeur made 25 saves and Weekes the losing goalie of the same game still only made 21 saves and let in 4.
I think the habs defense played a little better especially considering Sourray went out with an injury forcing guys like Markov, Bouillon and Rivet to play more minutes and balls to the wall in a double OT game.
I think the habs got a little lucky that Gerber sucked so bad in nets but even when the 'canes made their comeback they never gave up. Now they get to come home and have a chance to sweep the series in 4! That's something nobody could have expected! I don't see the Habs beating the Devils next round so we better enjoy our wins while we can.

As a second choice I had Buffalo VS Dallas with Buffalo winning.
