We are eventually going to move past the issue of whether to wear a mask to the issue of whose mask fashion sucks and whose mask fashion is superior. Mask fashion is where it's at right now as far as a developing fashion trend. The trend setters in the sports world are Clint Frazier, Aaron Boone and Giancarlo Stanton of the NY Yankees and JR Smith of the LA Lakers.
Once you have visible trend setting people, like those I have named, setting the example, the issue will not be wearing a mask, but wearing one that is cool rather one that sucks. Right now I only have 2 masks, one which is a rather cool reversible cloth mask (black and purple), and my back up mask which is generic and sucks. Because of my trip to Maine coming up in August I am looking to upgrade my mask fashion because I want to be the guy who is looked at by people who say, "that's a cool fucking mask on that guy!!! I want one like that!" I am thinking of designing my own Mask, working in conjunction with my seamstress. Maybe even putting out a limited collection. I have also thought about utility masks with a drinking appliance so you can safely imbibe at the bar.
I feel like the wearing of the mask debate is soon destined to become stale and the thread needs to go in this direction of developing mask fashion and utility masks.
