ROFL! I knew at least one of you 2 would get it Bwhahahahahahahaahah
It wasn't too difficult.
If you want something difficult: it's the leafs trying to win a game.

Haha, says the fan whos so called "team" sits 5 points BEHIND the Leafs.
The young Leafs finally get some home cooking and a chance to rest after a long long (their longest of the year i do believe) road trip and a back to back. (cairo must have made the schedule out)

Considering that they have to rely on a goalie (Howard) who only had now a decent game, and hasn't been able to deliver good performances, back-to-back, playing against the Wild and Columbus might not be as straightforward as one would think.
Rest???? They've been RESTING ever since the Olympics.
While the Wings' schedule doesn't seem all that difficult after their game against the Pens, they'll be playing teams who are in the same desperate situation as they are; battling for a spot in the playoffs. Actually the Wild are a very good team and will give the lowly wings fits.
2 regulation wins in 11 games since the break ... :violin:
and a goaltending controversy as well ...

There is no controversy, Bernier is the clear #1 and Reimer will likely be dealt this summer.
I agree: Bernier is here to stay as #1. The past few games were Reimer's chance to shine and he hasn't. He's a decent goalie but back up material, which I don't think he's willing to settle for.
Hey, how did David "7 year, $35 million" Clarkson do tonight? Oh, that's right: he was a LIABILITY as usual. Love it!
As you can see, Petula's contract is for a total of $36,750,000 over seven years however $27,750,000 of it is in signing bonuses.
Now for those who don't know much about hockey, (Leaf fans) when the Leafs decide to buy him out over the summer the signing bonuses will still count against their cap hit. In other words, at best they would get 2/3 relief of only $9,000,000.
Leave it to the laughingstock of the sport to be the first to screw up under the new CBA. :thumb:
Strong game by the Leafs tonight, but the puck seemed to bounce Tampa's way (and questionable refereeing). Unfortunately, the Leafs lost tonight. But you can't win 'em all, right??? Montreal is up Saturday! Go Leafs Go!
Anyone who understands the pro game especially the goalie position is easily frustrated with Reimer at times. (many times actually) He is not positionally sound which a great goalie has to be. He ofton looks confused as to where the puck is even when he has stopped it and it is under his pads. His rebound control was not good under the famous Francios Allaire's tutelage and seems to be getting worse. His confidence seems shot as well as he has lost his starters job. Carlyle and he seem to not care much for one another.
You get Pitt next, good luck with that
