Give the Leafs some time: this is ONE title they WILL be able to capture - in fact many people would say they already HAVE captured it - 46 years and counting of pure, abject failure and complete humiliation. The Leafs are the ANTI-Wings, in other words the complete opposite of class, respect, ability, and dignity. You think of Toronto and the first word that pops into your mind is "loser", quickly followed by "laughingstock" and "embarrassment".

Now, the Crosby Show invades the Bell Centre tomorrow night and this could be the beginning of the end of the parade plans from all the bandwagon Canadians fans that have popped up all the sudden with a few victories over mostly non playoff teams and or games won on mostly home ice. No Malkin tho so it might be closer than it should be. Go PENS Go!

In the 4 major sports the other habitual losers, besides the Leafs are:

NFL - Detroit Lions 56 years.

NBA - Sacramento Kings 62 years.

MLB - Chicago White Sox 104 years.

Let the truly damaged and desperate relate to these while we in Boston cherish 7 title trophies since 2001. And now...Iggy's next desperate line...IFFFF...he's recovered from that Canadiens butt whooping of the hapless Leafs. :thumb:

Yes ig you're correct: this rates to be a much tougher game for Montreal than the one the other night where they completely destroyed the hopeless Leafs in the Leafs' own barnyard. The big difference is that Pittsburgh actually has some good players, unlike the useless overpaid bums on Toronto who rolled over and played dead for the Habs.
